I HAVE NOTICED THAT IN SPANISH WE USE A LOT OF BIG WORDS IN OUR COMMON SPEECH THAN MOST ENGLISH SPEAKERS....* ~ *
alas, it is kinda shocking in fact....
i've tried to say some things in english, that in spanish make perfect sense and sound so normal and very whatever...but in english they just sound so grown up and formal, and so very dictionary/encyclopedia/chemistry/history/you-get-the-idea like....and although i actually think that is a nice thing
*for people to use big words* some people think you are just trying to show off your nice and well developed vocabulary, so i end up using "synonyms" that aren't really what i meant to say...
blehg...english and it's weird speakers...
blegh...spanish and it's weird speakers too....
i love both languages though
