System of a down - "Hypnotise"

Ok.. My friend and I have become confused over some thing.
Shimofuri / Z / Icarus, a friend of mine has got e-mails from a unknown sender pointing out url links to my journal entries where I have been upset or asking for help, some thing in general bad and blegh. The e-mails tell Shimo to help / talk to me?
I'm just curious to know who sent the e-mails as.. well if I was that in need of talking to some one, I'd talk to shimo myself, like I do. And I think it's a little strange for some one to e-mail telling my friend to talk to me as I seem upset or what ever in a journal entry.
I'm not mad or anything, just a little bewildered. I talk to shimo any way. And if some one is concerned for me, why not e-mail and talk to me?
Also not many people may know I'm good friends with Shimo, so I find it a bit odd some one would go to the trouble to find out who some one's friend is to e-mail them they should talk to me.

Why not e-mail me? Again, not mad or anything. Just confused by these methods.
