I know, I know, I still need to respond to comments and I'll get to them. It's my damn internet again. ;/ Keeps going out with every hook up. UGH YO, UGH.

Anyway I got my new speakers today, and hooked them up.. within 2 seconds I had a blistering headache because I accidentally had the sub woofer up too loudly. X___x;

Just thought I'd share Also, my hard drive hasn't come yet so I still don't have any of my files. I did, however, get my scanner working. Hopefully I'll get photoshop working soon... and by soon, I mean as soon as I find my serial code.

Oh and to my dismay I have to watch Luke ALL WEEK NEXT WEEK BECAUSE OF SPRING BREAK, so yeah... disappearing powers.. ACTIVATE!

Now for the moronic part...
As some of you know or may not know, I make AMV's relating to D.N. Angel. Several of them are extremely popular (for whatever reason), one of them being called "Sparkling Angel - D.N. Angel Tribute". This particular AMV sparked a fairly... long winded debate/argument/YouTubeshowsitstruecolors fight between myself and some girl who just shows up out of no where and interrupts a conversation I was having with someone about the manga.

The girl I was originally having a conversation with made a comment that the manga was better than the anime, which I agreed with her. One point we both made was that we were waiting for volume 12 to be released. All sources indicate that there is only 11 volumes of D.N. Angel out right now, and a 12th in possible production (not for awhile since Sugisaki is on hiatus). Anyway, some girl barges in and states
"If you mean the Manga...I don't think that it ends at vol. 12...there are 20 volumes... XP"

Kay. I'm thinking "Idiot", right off the top of my head. Tokyopop licenses the manga, why would there be 20 released with no notification on the website itself? Plus if there were 20 volumes, I'm pretty sure the 80 billion conversations I've had on YouTube with people about the manga would have mentioned something by now.

Anyway, here is the entire conversation:
Her: "If you mean the Manga...I don't think that it ends at vol. 12...there are 20 volumes... XP"
Me: "Based on what data? There are only 11 volumes out right now and a 12th in production. I haven't seen or heard anything about there being 20."
Her: "There are the rest at my local library. I know. Tokyo Pop is being dumb by not directly selling the rest. You CAN find them on the internet, but it's really hard to find them. T.T I don't even own past 11, but there are 20 volumes"
I lol'd at that. THE LOCAL LIBRARY? That's just hilarity in a jar. If she doesn't own past 11, why doesn't she just check out the other 9 and tell us the ending
Me: "That sounds... really far-fetched. No offense to you but I don't believe that Tokyopop, the company who owns the license to the manga itself would let it sit in a library without announcing the addition of 8 other volumes - Whether they be in English or Japanese."
Tokyopop actually has a really good reputation for putting out volume listings before they're released.
Her: "arg...man, just search the internet...baka...they almost always finsh the manga before the manga. It came out in 1995. I research almost everything I can and you can find it. It's just really hard! baka."
Note her use of the word "baka." I did submit a reply, but with YouTube's lag-tastic comment submission abilities, it hasn't shown up yet. =/ I did make a slight comment about her inability to produce actual PROOF. If you want to see the continued conversation, you can search for my AMV's (there's a link in my shoutbox). Seriously though, anyone can make some HTML page, put it on some free webhost and say that there are 20 manga volumes of D.N. Angel. Unless she meant that there are 20 in production (in that case Sugisaki would have to confirm that), she's just an idiot. =/ Plus I hate how everyone I've come in contact with on YouTube automatically assumes I'm male. That gets SO annoying when it clearly states in my profile that I'm female.
