I was tagged by

, and since I like talking about myself, here we go.
1: Within the next year (likely this summer) I'll be getting jaw surgery. When I was younger and had braces I was informed that not only my teeth but my jaw was crooked, and when I was older I'd have to get a correctional surgery for jaw malformation. As of now -- and for as long as I can remember -- I've had an open bite on the right side of my mouth, and if anyone looks closely enough they can tell that my chin is slightly off-center. My sister got jaw surgery as well for an overbite, but hers was only a fraction of what mine is going to cost. Since my insurance considers CORRECTIONAL surgery cosmetic, they won't cover it. :(
2: I've been drawing since I was a little kid. Around the age of 6-7, I loved dinosaurs. I drew them all the time, and that evolved into drawing dragons. I didn't try to draw animals until junior high, and it wasn't until Sophomore year of high school that I really "succeeded" in making a human look like a human. Something about coming to college has created a love of imps and drawing them, and they're my default now -- but dragons have always, and always will be, the love of my life. Because of this, all who have known me will forever be cursed: whenever they see a dragon, they'll think of me.
3: Despite my religious upbringing, I have always had an interest in demons and creatures -- not so much aliens, though. When Beauty and the Beast came out, I was crazy about Beast, and I learned to draw him. My 2nd grade teacher liked my drawing so much (it was a large colored crayon drawing of him that was on a large sheet of newsprint I'd acquired from my artsy brother) she laminated it and hung it on the classroom door. I was, literally, in love with Batman as a child, and to this day Gargoyles is one of my favorite shows.
4: Anti-social cats like me. I don't know why, but the type of cats that are aloof, distant or shy usually warm up to me really fast. The cat my sister has had for over a year and a half now hides from everyone; however, when I come over he shyly emerges and comes up to me. For this reason, and because she thinks he'd be happier with me, I'll be taking this cat in when I move this summer.
5: When I was a kid I HATED Sonic the Hedgehog. I got my first console (SNES) when I was 8, and from that time till high school I was MAJORLY biased against anything not Nintendo. In high school, when Sega began releasing their games for other consoles, I was aghast and somehow got my hands on Sonic Adventure 2: Battle for the GC. To this day it is one of my favorite games, and my opinion is a complete turn-around from when I was little.
6: I grew up with an inferiority complex. I expect it's due to the fact that I am the youngest of 6 children and always felt the smallest, weakest, and least priveleged, but it really effected me especially during my junior high and high school years. I didn't feel like I deserved anything since the voice in my head told me so. Having my first relationship really helped silence it a lot since my boyfriend, despite obvious flaws in our relationship which led to a break-up, was very sensitive to it. To this day the "voice" IS still there, but has much less effect on me.
Ka-BAM! Time for homework.

I've never seen you draw a dinosaur! You should draw a dinosaur fighting a giant, telekinetic gorilla!

Hey, I loved dinosaurs too! And my dinosaur art also turned into dragon art. That is strange. I wonder how many other people this happened to.
