Hey guys!
Animator Wanted:

has some scripts he would like to animate, and he needs the help of an animator!
Anyone interested in helping him, please, do contact him!
Music:
As you may know, or may not know, I've been shooting up my stuff at sheezy lately and I've come to the conclusion, that, not only it's crappy, but needs a lot of work on it.
I need some tips to record my guitar into my PC without the help of a $300 Line6 POD.
Games:
Yeah, I should really play these, but hey, I just can't stay cool without my weekly dose of Counter-Strike.
In case you want to host up a game, I play:
-Counter-Strike: Source
-World of Warcraft: Burning Crusade
-Dawn of War, Dawn of War: Winter Assault & Dawn of War Dark Crusade
Hit me up on Xfire:
easilver
Or MSN/Mail me at:
ericzbenaim@hotmail.com
I'll keep posting more of my crap so you guys can help me improve it!
Thanks again,
-Eric
Wonchop Says:
Can't you just get one of those cables you use to hook it up to amps and one of those adaptors so you can fit it in your mic slot?
Jigglesbig Says:
In Case anyone is wondering, the main script I need animating is what was going to be Megaman Short 3. Contact me at legend_of_zelda_1@hotmail.com if you're interested :)
Defusion Says:
I offered, but he thinks I have too many projects :s
However, I would have said it'd be better, since we can work on it together since we actually live near each other
Cyril Says:
If you have a mic cable or a mixing console or whatever get a DI box that has an cab simulator on it. That's how I did Pride of the Many.
roxen Says:
to my experience... you can get a mixer to plug in to your pc and play it through that? maybe... dont really know what im talking bout but yeah ive done it...
Xoryn Says:
I use a quite cheap mixer 4 track mixer, a Behringer Xenyx 802 for recording direct from guitar and bass amps and it works a treat. Serves me quite well and gives me quite good sound.
Also I noticed your listening to Neal Morse what is your opinion of his solo work? I am a big fan Spock's Beard but I was a bit hesitant to listen to his solo stuff because from what I heard the first album of his was a bit too "preachy"(for lack of a better word) and not very subtle in the lyrical content. What are your views and thoughts.
MeDP Says:
Well, I know it's not much of an Improovement, but my Alesis 3630 works wonders like an Improvised Preamp.

Does it's part as a compressor and boosts the signal input ot the computer, I can get some nice records out of it... Well, some nice sounds, my records will be overall crappy untill I figure out how to track a drum loop and guitar loop
Also, there's these Cheap Tube DI's in Sono Audio that dont look half bad, I hear a couple of soundclips of those things and they are reall nice for 60$. The ART Tube MP's, chek 'em out.
Celtic Twilight Says:
What soundcard do you use? If you have a stereo line in, just get a small adapter to plug it directly in. I bet you were doing that with a mike plug already. Mike plugs usually aren't top-quality in rendering audio. Don't use any distortion pedal or amp when connected to the computer though, the sound could be too loud and fuzz or have a funky volume. Fix your sound using a vox or a wave editor with the effects of your choice, considering you can adjust the distortion/overdrive and stereo broadening (as well as any other effect you might want to use) manually to make it fit your tastes.
