It's taken years (and I am serious when I say years) of begging, but I finally get a NEW PC! YAAAETYayhagjadf*mouthfoam* (I couldn't get one before because of REALLY high cost in this area for computers that absolutely SUCK.. for whatever reason).
Here's the Specs ^.^
Compaq Presario Media Center (I currently have a HP Pavilion)
Windows XP Media Center (Free Upgrade to Vista when wanted)
2GB RAM
250GB HD
G-Force Graphics Card
Double Layer Drive
- DVD Burner
- CD Drive
6 USB Ports (I use USB ports like water, so this is like heaven to me considering my Pavilion only has 2 >_>

Adesso Advance Drawing Tablet/Mouse Combo
I ordered it directly from HP today. I originally called to see about an upgrade for my current computer, thinking it would be cheaper, however they don't even MAKE the parts I'd need for an upgrade anymore because my computer is considered obsolete (The damn thing is about 6 years old). The main reason for this is because I wanted to keep the files on my computer without having to reinstall absolutely everything. So they're sending me instructions on how to extract my current HD and install it into my new one :3 Yaaay~ Or I could go pay 70$ for Radio Shack to do it. Whatevs.
The only downside is that the computer does not come with a monitor, but it is compatible with ANY monitor, including the one I have right now. BUT. I want to get a flat screen because I'm sick of this bulky 80lb thing, which I'm doing today. :3 Yay yay yay.
The computer cost was 379$. Not bad, eh? The reason it was marked down so low was because it was overstocked. Needless to say, I got really damn lucky. I never thought my mom would go for it

She'll probably kill me whenever she sees the shipping taxes (they totalled up to about 100$... why the hell did they charge 50$ in WV sales tax?)
I should have the computer in about a week so, if I manage to disappear a week from now, this be why. That or, I've shocked myself to hell and back trying to install the second HD.

Considering I've only opened my CPU ONCE to disconnect and remove my CD-ROM drive, this should be EXTREMELY interesting.
Kay well I gotta go now :3 Bye ya'll~
