[1] Do you like to draw?
no, i am cursed to draw constantly as a form of torture for my sins from my past life as an evil house wren

[2] What do you like to draw?
I like drawing everything except architecture. I think buildings are interesting and i love city scapes and high detail mechanical designs, but i can not bring myself to actually draw one beyond a sketch.

[3] Do you use a pen or pencil?
both.

[4] What do you like to draw with?
pens, pencils, a mouse, chalks, crayons, charcoals, sticks, inks, rocks... if it makes a mark i like to draw with it, given the opportunity.

[5] What do you think of when you draw?
I think of what i'm trying to draw and what i want it to look/feel/be like. sometimes i listen to music to find the emotion for it.

[6] Are you artistic?
I'm told i am, but i don't feel artistic, if that makes sense. I make pictures becuase it's just what i do.

[7] Has anyone ever told you, you were MAD awesome at drawing?
i would laugh at them and tell them to go lie down if they did.

[8] Do you get frustrated when you draw?
constantly but so what

[9] Are you shy when it comes to people saying your art is amazing?
i am embarassed when it happens in real life, but i'm told it's rude to act like that and to just say thank you and take the compliments for how they're meant: so i do. which is why i try not to draw where people will see me.

[10] Have you ever won an award for a piece of art you drew?
sure, several, they don't mean anything

[11] What do you think of your art?
i think it's half-asses and mediocre for the most part. I am lazy and unmotivated unusally and it shows in my sloppy, careless errors.

[12] If you had advice to give people, what would it be?
don't settle for being almost there.

[13] Do you draw manga/anime art, or western?
I can no longer tell the difference between these, the influence of both as so rubbed their industries until they are near identicle with only the artists' personal touches making their images look subtly unique. I draw whatever it is you want to call what I draw. I don't care either way.

[14] Do you hate it when people tell you you can't draw?
if someone told me that i would say "i agree" and keep going.

[16] Who taught you how to draw?
My mom, my granddad, my 7th and 8th grade art teacher had the most influence on me and really made me believe I had a skill to polish, my high school art teacher showed me the different types of art out there and helped me gain the courage to go to the governor's school for the arts summer program. I owe a lot to my two public school art teachers for just instilling the notion in me that I could make art too.

[17] How old were you when you started art?
i've been drawing on everything i could get my hands on since i could hold a crayon. but I've only been doing it with intent since 7th grade.

[18] What did you use to draw when you were little?
i drew people, cats, unicorns, horses, fairies, cat people, dragons, gargoyle princesses, etc. whatever game of pretend i had going at the moment i illustrated (laughably, looking back now).

[19] Is anyone in your family artistic?
My granddad painted birds as a hobby, my grandmom is a great cook and i think that counts as artistically abled (lol), my mom did portraits and costume design and creation as a hobby, my uncle's an engineer (that totally counts shutup) and has an ear for music, my step-sister paints abstracts as a hobby, and my brother's working on a degree for fine art, plays seven instuments, writes his own music, and builds and paints surf boards in his spare time.

[20] If you were able to generate your own style of art what would you name it?
if i ever generated my own "style" i wouldn't name it anything. that's about as rediculously pretentius as you can be, unless you name it something self aware of this fact. then it's pretentious but funny.
