Nightwish- Beauty and the Beast
Note: This does not apply to any of my watchers. Also, do NOT report me for this. I am NOT flaming, just pointing out simple concepts. In a rant format. I have nothing against the offenders, sans the fact they're allegedly copying me. I can't prove anything, but I still don't like it.

First of all...
Stop. Copying. My. ****ing. CONCEPT!
Sorry. I had to put that before I start my rant. While it may not be intentional, it almost seems like it. Like these people have seen me either here, or on HOL, and suddenly are creating their own characters with a similar backstory to Iruel. I created Iruel last year, and only over the last year have I seen this concept pop up. Which leads me to believe that either someone has found me, and is copying me, or have a very similar brain to me. Which I doubt.
As some of you know, Iruel is the son of Voldemort, and an O.C. of mine, Cassiopeia. In my story, Iruel was only born for the sole purpose of being Voldemort's heir, in the event that Voldemort died.
The only reason Cassiopeia was chosen to be his mother wasn't out of affection for her- after all, Dumbledore DID say that 'Voldemort does not know the concept of love'. Or something to that extent. So, sorry, copycats, he did not love your OC. Nor did he love mine. Cassiopeia was only chosen because she brought up the idea, was a talented witch herself, and, most importantly, was willing to. Another reason she was chosen? She would take care of the child. The child would have knowledge of the one thing he doesn't- love. Making her a good choice for the mother. You see, she had fallen in love with (at the time, Tom), while she was attending Hogwarts. However, he never gave a damn about her. Even so, she continued loving him, even to the current date in the story. And, of course, he doesn't give a damn about her. Still. So, it's basically a 'I love you, but you don't give a damn about me' thing. And she really doesn't care. To her, she got her wish. In a way. So, she's happy.
Going back to Iruel himself, he was brought up almost normally, minus his father giving a damn about him besides teaching him dark magic.(Most of the 'fathering' was done by Peter Pettigrew, who was forced to. So, Iruel's not ENTIRELY messed up. Why not Snape, or someone eviler? Simple. Peter is always there. And Voldemort considered him loyal, thanks to reviving him, so he got stuck with it. .), and of course, Voldemort tried instilling his ideals into Iruel's head. And did. So, despite Voldemort being involved very little in Iruel's life, he still ends up being similar to his father. And strangely, looks up to the man he barely knows. You would think he'd like Peter more, but nope. He likes the one who doesn't give a damn about him more. However, understand that this does not mean that Iruel is also incapable of love. Thanks to his mother, he knows the concept.
My complaints for the copiers- Why always a girl? Voldemort would want a male child, as a female could never be considered a true heir.
Second- I apologize for pointing one person out, but this particular example stands out to me.
There were no test tubes in the '70s. Or '80s. Cloning started in the mid '90s, and human cloning is still not, to my knowledge, possible. Unless your character was born in the future, the test tube baby concept is impossible.
Also, why would Voldemort marry someone, when he doesn't love ANYONE? Or why would he give a damn about any descendants? And most importantly, if he hates common names, why would he have a child with a woman with a common name? Or name his child a common name?
Learn the character before making OCs, please.
</end rant>
If too many people get offended, I'll delete this. .
And I apologize for boring my watchers with my ramblings. I just had to get it out. X__X

Oh, yeah. And before I forget, Merry Christmas to all of you!
