I'm just letting all of you know that I'm in the process of removing my artwork from this site. I'm tired of the lack of feedback and pageviews I get here. While deleting some of the my pics I noticed that they may have been here for two years still have less than 30 pageviews. Sorry but that is just too discouraging. I'm not asking that my pics praised and glorified like some artists' work here but feedback would be nice. But I never get it. So I've decided what's the point? I'm way too busy to be begging people for comments and feedback. So I'm removing my work from here and won't be posting anymore. I'm only keeping an account here just so I can keep up with some of my favorite artists who don't have a DA account. A couple of artists said they left this place because it's just a popularity contest. Well I tend to agree. So about 30 of my pics were removed today. During the next couple of weeks while I'm off work I will be removing the rest of my pics. I just want to say I'm sorry to those of you who do favorite my work but if you go to DA you'll see all my work over there. A lot of it hasn't been posted here at all.

i understand how you feel it sucks when people dont comment on ur artworks just because its not fanart or because ...well...there are better things somewhere else...

I agree. That's why I left here. And just recently they've been posting up this scoreboard of 'Yes/No' thing on people's work! Pfft! So judgemental and idiotic! I disagree with that completely! This 'Yes/No' thing has just crossed the line for me. (and right when I was starting to have second thoughts on leaving or staying here) But I've already made my decison. I understand exactly how you feel on that. This really IS a popularity contest to see who can get on the 'popular' side of the website. I'll see you at DA!

And I completely understand about the no comments thing. I rarely get any comments either. :/

Really the only thing I'll be using this for is to post the versions of my fanfics that have lyrics in them, and the pics that go along with them. The FF.net admins don't allow song lyrics. :/ Anywho, I wish you luck, and I agree with you about this place not giving much comments.

Does Fanart Central allow song lyrics?
