bamawitch, you are a very nice person. I'm really happy to see everybody responding so well to my art. :) Seriously, it's thrilling. I never thought the day would come.

Anyway, a few people have asked me whether I plan on doing tutorials. This is somewhat of an ironic question (IMO), seeing as I'm making a big one right now. Here's what it's going to cover:

1. Definition of fractal art--what it is, classically
2. How to get the most out of the tutorial (and others)
3. The basics--how to use Apophysis, what the different fuctions do.
4. Getting started--using mutations and random batches
5. Color theory and gradients, using ApoMap (a tool for working with gradients)
6. Rendering--quality settings and what they mean
7. Mid-level Apophysis: Scripts--the correct way to use scripts and where to find them
8. High-level Apophysis: the Editor--making flames from scratch
9. Postwork--how to tweak color and add complexity
10. Closing tips/how to use tutorials
(Possibly) 11. Starting flames, favorite gradients, and assignments

In case you were wondering, I use a free program called Apophysis and will be covering how to acquire and install it too.
