Well, Square-enix just announced Dragon Quest IX... for the Nintendo DS! Holy SHIT. The DS is ALREADY selling like freakin' crack nuggets, and now THIS? Man, if the game isn't being announced for any other platform, things are going to be absolutely insane when that game comes out in Japan. A numbered Dragon Quest game... on a handheld. Who woulda thought, eh? I think the DS really may be the second coming of the almighty SNES...

...Ever heard of Dragon Warrior I & II? I'm thinking it was a GBC version of Dragon Quest and Dragon Quest II together, because it was made by Enix.
I'm SO getting it. I always wanted to play Dragon Quest but couldn't get around to it.

That's why there's a law in japan that the game cannot come out on a weekday. Otherwise too many people would skip school/work to get it.

I don't understand the charm of dragon quest ( maybe it's because I got bored of toriyama a long time ago) xD they should make new games instead of 20 sequels
