Fawna: Photoshop brush question...

Okkayy.. I've been trying to mess with brush settings and such today.. But I can't figure out how to do something.. >.>

I want to make a brush that's fadey on both ends.. Like.. Something like this -

I mean, I have the right PS version and everything and I've followed tutorials to do it but.. It just.. Isn't working.. o_o It's making me really really pissed off, soo... If anyone can help me.. I would be very happy...

Playing with my photoshop to figure it out... I just hit the "Other Dynamics" square and that did it for me. That should be all you need to have checked to get that effect.
