Ahhhh lifes been crazy right now, and this semester has been so busy!

So my parents went to the art sale at my university with me. We got there and I saw my supervisor there as well which I thought was really nice since I didnt expect him to show up. There was a lot of people there since it was a saturday but there was still some people looking around. We looked at the art and I told my parents about some of the other artists that I know and the work that I watched them work on in my class. Then we went to the ceramics room where my mom fell in love with a pot that someone in my class had made. My mom liked it so much she bought it. The girl who made it who also put the show together saw my mom paying for it and she asked me if they were my parents, I told her yes and then she told me that she was the one who made it. I told her my mom really liked it a lot and I also told her that I really liked her bronze work. She told me that she likes working with Bronze but that she didnt think a lot of the stuff would sell cause it was expensive. But I told her that while that might be the case I thought that the work was deffinately worth the amount she put down and that if someone could afford it that they would deffinately pay for it. She agreed and when my mom finished paying for it I introduced her to the girl, and my mom told her that the pot she bought stood out (for her) from the rest of the stuff. I then saw one of my classmates who creates these amazing instalations and he paints some very interesting things. He said hi gave me a hug and asked me how I was doing, I told him I was doing fine and asked him how he was doing he said the same thing. ^^

After that we went home. I dont think that I will sell any of the other pieces that I did but I think the fact that I sold to prints was pretty amazing for me! And it makes me really happy. ^^

If I dont sell any of the other ones I might put them up for sale. I am selling them for $100 because they are printed out on very nice semi-glossy paper, they have been matted and framed, as well as being signed by me, therefore it is very much worth the money. But I will have to think about it since I may just save them for next year and sell them then. I will have to see.

The fact that two of them sold made me extremely happy and it really makes me feel like a professional! ^^ And I may have to go through some of my drawings as well cause I might want to sell some of them as well but I need to look through them as well as figuring out how much to charge. ^^
