Remember that Mac guy from the recent Mac Vs PC ads that have been going around lately? Well, nobody likes that douche. Why? First of all, his smug, holier-than-thou attitude put people off a lot. Apple did nothing more than to reflect how they feel about themselves, and this personification of the Macintosh computer opened otherwise unaware people's eyes to how much of a collective douche the entire Mac ad campaign and their fanboys can be. The commercials were great because they would always make the PC guy look completely incapable of viewing a photo or connecting to a camera, which we all know is complete bullshit. I saw what you did there, Apple, with the "I can do fun stuff" spot. Nobody mentions fun stuff like VIDEO GAMES, now do they? Spread sheets and pie charts my ASS. Fortunately for Apple, they realized they were both parodying and trapping themselves into that image of being a condescending dickhead and tossed the Mac guy idea. Good game, Apple. Rock on.

Or prehaps the Mac's attempts to validating his sexuality by surrounding himslef with stalk character females such as Japanese Camera or Home Movie Chick.

I'm more of a PC type of guy than a Mac but if you want I can show you something on youtube about some of the Mac's flaws.

Oh dear God. This is the end of a heavily parodied commercial, and now nobody will get the parodies. Oh well, it was funny, even if it did lie like hell and make Apple look terrible...Why don't they just fix some of th eproblems with Macs instead of boasting? Or do they think Win95 is still their main competition? Because I will admit, Win95 sucked.
