On another note, the kungfu competition went fabulous! I recieved a second in sparring (which I'm really proud of, by the way), a third in open hand and a second in syncornized with a fellow student. It was a ton of fun!

Oh! And I got a new turtle. I named her Tokka (surprising, no?) and she's frickin' awesome. She's about 8 inches long and when my friends and I went to go get her, we were under the impression that she was kept in a pretty good environment. We thought wrong. This 8 inch red eared slider turtle was in a 22 gallon tank that had green algea growing over everything and stunk to high heavens. I was pretty grossed out. So we went to the petstore and got her all new gravel and gave her tank a good scrub down. I'm in the market now looking for a big enough tank that'll hold her comfortably...and to get her a basking lamp! The lady who had her before didn't have one...OR a place for her to crawl out of the water! So now I let her crawl around the apartment everyday. She loves hanging out by my heater It's warm there.
