hello internet, i have a very random request.

for one of my classes i have to come up with a concept for/write/design/produce several copies of a zine. (if you're unfamiliar with what a zine is, this is a good place to start looking, basically a small, handmade, personal magazine type of thing.) most of the ideas we covered in class were pretty boring, random emo poetry, music reviews, miscellaneous "this is my day" type journal entries. the only concept i really sort of liked was the collection of journal entries, but i do enough of that on the internet to really hold my interest outside of that spectrum, so i decided to do something a little different. the idea i came up with (and really like) is to take all the emails, spam and otherwise, that i receive in a day and convert them from being electronically-based media into real media - basically taking what i get in my inbox and handwriting it, or cut-and-pasting-it, or typewriting it into handmade, paper media.

so here's the part where you come in:

i've opened an email account at inboxzine@gmail.com and basically what i want you to do is spam this account. say anything you feel like saying. "bug, you're an idiot and i hate you." forward me your spam. forward me your annoying forwards. send me a list of your favorite internet links. i don't care. send anything to this account. i need material, no matter what it is. just spam that account TO DEATH. also, because it's sort of pertinent, i plan on leaving out or faking the "from" addresses, or just putting in a name ("from: steve") so people who send me things don't actually recieve spam from this. unless it's mail from a spammer, in which case i'd say that's fair game.

i realize it's kind of a goofy idea, but if anyone is really interested in seeing what it looks like at completion and would like an actual hard copy, let me know so i can make sure to assemble enough copies when it comes time to print the thing and i'll work out some means of mailing copies out.
