Whenever my brother comes over for a visit, he always brings a funny/disturbing story with him. Not too long ago, when he was out filming footage for his current project somewhat late at night in New York some place, some cops happened to come by and asked him to roll down his window. The car he was in stood out because of the lighting and the camera and all that fancy stuff. The cop sees my bro, his cousin, a cameraman and a girl wearing surgical gloves, and a fake gun. Oooh, lawd. That set things off. The cop who saw the fake was apparently a rookie, and he had no clue what to do about it. My brother tried to calm them down, saying 'it's a fake gun; we're filming a movie. Check for yourself.' This rookie stayed pretty calm and said 'I'm pretty sure I have to call in about this one' and soon enough my bro was surrounded by around 15 cop cars or some crap. Mr. Rookie and his partner had the toy gun for a long time now. They were both white and very calm about the situation, from what my bro tells me. Now, the lady who came out of one of the cop cars was quite nasty to my bro's party, yelling at them and calling them liars and whatnot. The issue wasn't about the toy gun anymore, apparently, as the lady said nothing of it. This lady was black, as was her partner, some officer of higher rank. The female officer's higher ranked partner joined in the yelling and such, adding that he would have shot my bro on the spot if it were him in charge of the situation. They tried to pin him on counts of all sorts of stuff, and they ignored the whole making-a-movie thing. The lady officer eventually shouted at my bro and crew to explain themselves, and why they had a toy gun, and why the girl was there, so my bro handed over the script and said that it called for this, outlining where it did so. Some more yelling took place, they tried to say my bro stole the car he was in, they tried to say he stole the camera, and all sorts of fun crap like that. Now, the white officers weren't doing any of this - the black officers were trying to prove something at this point, with all their yelling and whatnot. The female officer would give them a ticket every time my bro said anything, so basically there were enough tickets for everyone in the car. They made a big scene for no good reason. My bro apparently has to pay some fines now or something... I don't remember the rest of what he said. It's too bad that they didn't get all this on tape like that one time he caught those cops ruining this one kid's shit all over the street. That was crazy.
On an unrelated note, I have somehow stumbled upon Megaman Scat pornography, and now I loathe the internet just a bit more.
Good times, good times.
Tamua Says:
that's one of the reasons I hate America...
GoroUnreal Says:
Wow that sounded pretty screwed up. Any way he can appeal that or something?
RuneAura Says:
You can go in and dispute the fines can't you? Especially in those conditions...
I'd make sarcastic remarks about the police force, but they do enough good that I don't let the bad eggs ruin my opinion of the whole lot.
FyreNWater Says:
friggin' cops. DOWN WITH THE AUTHORITY!!
Megaman porn. there is no God.
StoopidClock Says:
lmao megaman scat.
Denny Says:
If there's a cartoon, you will be able to find porn of it. Fact.

Good old NYPD. Anything to argue. Too bad your cameraman wasn't still recording. the audio at least would have been good evidence. He should go to court and fight the fines. Just use the footage from the scene they were doing as proof.
mistergoodface Says:
how fricken retarded...its almost unbelievable..
Dread Thomas Says:
I'm sorry that your brother went through all that.
as NWA once said:

(and I quote)
I don't know if they fags or what
Search a nigga down and grabbin his nuts
And on the other hand, without a gun they can't get none
But don't let it be a black and a white one
Cuz they slam ya down to the street top
Black police showin out for the white cop
(end quote)
