Hmm, not quite back, and I've nuked all updates up to this point. Sorry, can't let them build up any worse. (over 500 artworks, and etc.) Anyhow, let's see...school's back in session, for me anyway. Haven't been drawing anything, except three unfinished drawings. The only thing I've really been doing is playing my new DS I got. Had it for about a month by now, still not tired of it. I've got a few games for it, and thanks to my job (I mow lawns..heh.) I've been able to buy new games every week. Almost every week. Other then that, nothing really new. Hmm, pity. Maybe I should at least type something besides this crud...

A-ha, I know. I'll give a game review. Better then nothing I suppose. Let's see which one...

Ah, this one will do. Ahem.

My first review will be on the game the "New Super Mario Bros."
It's a pretty good game, sadly, it's easier then the original, and that's because of two reasons:

1) The new techniques you can use make dieing easy to avoid.

2) The huge mushroom kills any boss in one hit.

Now, let's talk about the actual game story. From what I collect, this is it. Mario and the Princess Peach are walking together through the plains of the Mushroom Kingdom, when the castle is suddenly under attack. Mario, being the hero he is, rushes towards the castle to check out the situation. What he doesn't know is Baby Bowser was following them from behind. As he planned, Mario is away from the princess, and the junior koopa king takes the princess, and runs off. Mario sees this, and chases after them. And thus your adventure begins.

Now, unlike it's predacessor on the Nes, when you complete a level, you can go back to it. Plus, each world isn't 4 stages long. (3 normal stages and then the boss stage)

Now, like all remakes, they added some things. As most of you all saw on the commercial, there's a mushroom that makes Mario a humogous giant, plowing through anyone who comes in his way. There's the opposite mushroom, the tiny mushroom, making you a tiny mario, even smaller then your original form. This form allows you to get into small tight places, and thanks to it's smaller size, he can jump higher. The last new power-up is the Turtle Mario form. This allows you to be like a koppa shell when running, making smashing blocks on the ground easier and faster.

Also, unlike the old Super Mario Bros., you don't go from fire Mario to regular Mario in one hit, you become Super Mario (Mario with a mushroom).

The boss battles are easy, not only because of the new power-up, but Fire Mario can kill almost all the bosses easily.

Now, what are the other extras. There are many mini games; I believe there are 25 or so. Plus, there's a VS. mode, where you and a friend can face off against each other in a battle for stars. It's a great game to play with others, and on to play by yourself, but the single player game is quite short.

Hmm...most reviews give a rating on the game...

Well let's see, maybe a number from 1 through ten...

I give the "New Super Mario Bros." for the Nintendo DS an average 7 out of 10.

Pros: Great Multiplayer gameplay, plenty of mini games to play with, and the adventure mode is quite fun.

Cons: The adventure mode is too short due to the fact it's alittle too easy, making single player alittle dull after awhile.

Hmm..guess that's it. Later

That will be all.
