Bump of Chicken - Harujion

Comicon is getting closer, and I'm really, really excited. For one thing, this is going to be my very first attempt at cosplay, and for anther, I'm really looking forward to all the stuff that's going to be going on this year. ^^

My friend and I will be cosplaying Chuunin exam Sasuke and Gaara (what a lively pair we'll be, in-character... ;; ), and we're really hoping to see some of the other cast there as well. Personally, I'd love to meet a Lee or a Sai, or even Naruto himself. ^^

However, I have a small dilemma at the moment... I'm compeletely finished with my costume, but I'm having a bit of trouble figuring out how to efficiently attach my gourd to my back. It's definitely a little heavy, despite the lightweight mache, and big, too... And I've been having a difficult time trying to both tie to gourd to me and get it to angle correctly. Does anyone have any ideas/experience as to how exactly to go about doing this? I'm probably just an idiot, but... I've tried a few different methods, and so far I haven't really been having any luck. ._.; This is my first ever cosplay, so you'll have to excuse me. (And my still-existent eyebrows...)

Anyway, we'll be there all four days, and we will also have a casual Tohru Honda with us on Saturday and Sunday, if anyone is a fan of Furuba too. :3 Thursday and Friday are the only days we won't be in costume (and also the only days my hair will still be its natural blonde o__o;; )... Nevertheless, I'd be very happy to meet some fellow artists, hehe. My badge should say Iroha - if you see me, please don't hesitate to say hello! ^^
