Since it is summer and I am not feeling lazy at the moment, it is about time that I start catching up on all the crap I should have been doing a while ago. One of these is working on my website. The real one. Not one of those little freeweb things (which I do have and are very convenient for their purpse). One problem with having an actual webspace is that you need to use FTP, which is an evil pain in the ass.
The second is designing a layout...that takes little to no maintenance and that you can easily understand with your limited coding skills.
The third is figuring out what the hell to put on your site, how to organize it, and all that other crap. Unfortunately, I have no clue what I'm going to put there. At the moment, I think a simple imagemap layout would be nice to start out with until I can design something worthwhile. And other nitpicky crap is hard to decide on, like for art, what size the thumbnails should be...
That and I still need to raise my pokemon team to 100. I'm lagging behind the goals I set (5 levels each every day), and me working EVERY DAY until the tournament is gonna make it even harder.
That and my parents are becoming more computer-literate, so I need better ways to hide my stuff on my computer. Not that any of it is necesarily bad, but that they are paranoid and flip out over the littlest things, such as "I'm thinking of changing the name of my site. Anyone have any ideas?"
Yeah, someone said that in an IRC room and she went BERSERK going "WHAT IS THAT? WHAT ARE THEY DOING?!"
So... yeah, need to hide and destroy everything now.
