Here's what I need you all to do. This is a modified list of high school sub-cultures that I got off of Wikipedia. I need you to comment and tell me your opion on each sub-cultures. What you think they are, how they look, act, are treated ect. Anything! Also, please state your gender, age and if your comfortable, please tell me your general location (i.e. England, Southern USA, Canada, ect)in the comment also. Don't worry I'm not a stalker, I just need to know what kind of people this info is coming from!

1. Advanced Placement students - umm... i assume these are people who manage to get into schools early (or move up a year/grade) coz they are clever... so they will be younger and considered nerds by others, making them slightly introvert and shy
2. Airheads - (stereotypically) blondes, could be non-blondes though, who are easily confused or distracted, will prefer brighter colours and fuzzy things but can get easily annoyed when called blonde or airhead
3. Alternative students - no idea in hell
4. Artsy students - kids who do art or other "artistic" subjects, may spend much of their time in their chosen arts department (ie music rooms or art rooms etc) usually with very colourful or bitchy personalities apart from one or two who completely throw themselves into it and become very introvert
5. Animal Lovers - they like animals, can be slightly too into it and may fight with anyone when it comes down to animals (probs with an animal keychain on the bag too)
6. Art Rock students - no idea
7. A/V Club Students - spend lot of time in front of computers and TVs. when not with them they will have a camera or video equipment with them will show up from time to time to film "real life" stuff either "nerdy" or the "side-kicks" to those who do extreme sports
8. AZN - well at my school its the two asian girls in my year who are really sweet and are the self proclaimed "AZNs" can be anything they want but have to be an asian to be AZN
9. Band geeks - obsessive with one band or another, gets very tetchy when the conversation gets onto bands which isnt their favourite band, may well have the band's logo on a badge on their bag
10. Bohemians - "chilled out" free thinkers who arent afraid to come to school without a bra... may be seen as slightly "out there"
11. Bully - Physical bully - larger kids who usually look like they have run into a few walls or sommat, quite muscular and slighly tall for their build. Psychological bully - bitchy girls who hold themselves well, and are good at planning ahead, often just watch things pass by to get an idea of everything going on. Like to know everything and are very intelligent
12. Blonde - see airhead
13. Cheerleaders - preppy, overly happy girls who are usually bitchy airheads who chearlead
14. Chav - british pikey, will wear burbury and necklaces and chains (a lot of metal all over really) guys will have a "hoodie" with a burbury cap underneath, girls will have a burbury handbag and a revealing skirt and shirt
15. Choir - will sing in a choir, may be part of the "in group" of the choir, or be a very quiet one on the outside of everything
16. Chongas - WTF?
17. Crombies - ???
18. Debaters - will be very strong willed and outspoken, can accidentally start a lot of fights, probably part of a debate society too
19. Druggies - they do drugs, in and out of school will often come to classes drunk or high, hang round with others who do drugs may even have a mini drugs ring in the school too
20. Emo - like to wear black tight clothes, dyed black hair, eyeliner and blusher to make them paler. may have (real or fake) emotional problems
21. Gamers - people who often play videogames for large parts of their free time, may talk about games too. Considered to be socially deprived but are usually sweet and very communicative if conversations are started on their level of view (games)
22. Gangsta - people who like to use slang a lot, think they are hard and have had it hard their whole life, live in the "ghetto" (no matter where this supposed "ghetto" is), hang round with their "cru", listen to R'n'B (dont necisarily have to be black but if you are a white person trying to be Gangsta you have to use a lot more slang to compensate by the looks of it)
23. Gear Heads - no idea
24. Geeks - people who usually wear glasses with bad clothes sense they usually spend their time with computers, will be more communicative and open over computers and will usually be considered "social rejects" even if nobody has actually tried to talk to them before
25. Ghetto - same as gangsta
26. Goths - emo but with less want to kill themselves and more want to scream at everyone and listen to "heavy" music. Not to be mistaken for gothic
27. Hackers - spends most of their time with computers, will understand the inside workings of them all and will try to bypass many computer systems, useful if your computer keeps crashing
28. Hermits - introverts, talk to nobody (or nobody talks to them), isolate themselves from everybody (or everybody isolates them). not to be confused with the crab
29. Hip Hoppers - like disco and dance music, dunno anything more
30. Hippies - 1970s lovers very naturalistic, love tye-dye, peace, colour, happiness, nature. May take drugs or go for sing-a-longs in parks with other hippies
31. In-crowd, popular, or the beautiful people - they have their little group, and they are self-proclaimed cool people, everyone wants to be them, they have huge self confidence which is how they get to take control of the situation and make themselves look cool, they look down on everyone
32. Indie kids - they like indie rock i guess...
33. Individualists - they wanna be completely individual and not go with the crowd, so go off and be "individual" by being like all the other "individual" people (so pretty much they are all hypocrites)
34. Jocks - good at sports, are usually muscular, and are usually going out with the cheerleaders and are considered cool
35. Joe Smoe - average person
36. Loners - spend time in small groups or alone, most "cool" people fear them coz they are alone and every "cool" person fears being alone
37. Metalheads - they are the "punks" they like heavy metal, have radical hair cuts and colours, will wear ripped jeans and a band t-shirt, may have lots of piercings and chains
38. Nerds - this is the name given to people who do all their work and pay attention in lessons and get good grades, by the "cooler" kids
39. Orch dorks - no clue
40. Otaku - huh?
41. Outcast - people who have been labled "uncool" by the "cool" people who are then outcasted by everyone coz they dont want to be seen with an "uncool" person in case they get labled "uncool" too
42. Plastics or Barbie/Ken Dolls. - "beautiful people" who think themselves to be really "cool" and are really bitchy and look down on everyone too
43. Wannabe Preppies or Preps - people who are on the fringe of the cool groups by being nearly "cool" or just by tagging along with them, will try as hard as they can to be accepted by the cool people
44. Punks - same as rock heads
45. Queen bees - the top of the "plastics'" hierarchy
46. Racially identified groups - groups of people who are labled by their race i assume
47. Rainbow Club Or members of a Gay- Straight Alliance - now i have actually never heard this term, but the "rainbow club" at my school is our Voluntary Service Unit's club where they look after and play games with under privelaged kids for the afternoon on Thursdays, the people who do it are really sweet and try so hard to help these kids.
48. Ravers - like to go to concerts and clubs to dance not much more i can say really...
49. Redheads - people with hair in any part of the Red spectrum i assume
50. Rednecks - dont really know thats too much american slang for me
51. Rejects - "outcasts" who have grouped together to form a group that is less outcasted than an outcast as they have friends but others dont like talking to them
52. Revolutionaries - same as "individuals" but more likely to denounce themselves as communists and complain about the current government system
53. Rockers - same as Punks
54. Rogues - people who purposefully are annoying or go against the rules for attention and no other obvious reasons and will usually end up in more dangerous situations than they thought they would have
55. Scene Kids - they are up with the latest trends and are usually at the beginning of the trends
56. Skaters - people who skate frequently and are usually in "Skater clothes"
57. Slackers - dont really do much work except what is necessary to keep them out of serious trouble, dont pay much attention to school or try hard at school, will sit around and chat or do nothing with friends... not much else to say
58. Special Education/Sped - people with learning difficulties who take special classes due to their difficulties, are often rejected or ridiculed for their difficulties
59. Spooky Kids or Psuedo-Goths - goths who are also interested in the occulut (sp?)
60. Student Government participants - kids who are really interested in the running of schools and governments, like to have power and responsiblilties
61. Stoners - druggies who are often so high they forget where they are or just dont turn up for classes
62. Theater kids or Thespians - "artsy" kids who do drama as their artsy subject, they are often in their own group, are in many plays, like to read and act, amicable people until you annoy them
63. Teenage mothers - kids who get pregnant and have kids whilst they are still teens, may have other problems such as drugs, alcohol, bad parenting or boyfriend, will not have much time on their hands due to their child
64. Thug - physical bully sometimes with a weapon (usually this weapon will be a knife)
65. Tomboys - girls who are very masculine but are usually cool enough
66. Wigger - no idea in hell

21. Gamers %u2013 Gaming freaks who enjoy any type of gaming. Spefically on game consoles

Hey kelly, I did the entire list (Actually, I was on 56) when my internet security thing fuzzed out and I lost the comment. I'm kinda mad because it was the best list by far. But what I really want to know is how the heck you created this! I just signed up 'cause I wanted to comment to your sub-culture thing and now I want to figure out how to create my own page. Help me!
