I HAVE DISCOVERED A NEW HAVEN TO FOCUS ALL MY ANIME FANGIRL NEEDS.... no one can bring me down today!!!]



okay, so i've been obsessed with this anime, Ouran High School Host Club*, which is the ULTIMATE fangirl heaven... well, for me that is... but i'm betting all the other fangirls will love it as well >.>

So basically, it's about this studious scholar, Fujioka Haruhi** who studies at this rich prep school... when i say "rich" i mean rich with a capital R-I-C-H and all the funds you need to fire up your highschool life....

but as far as rich people go, the only entertaining thing about the school is the said, "Ouran High School Host Club" which is famous for its gracious hosts... for a quick definition of this host club, i shall quote directly from the anime itself: "Ouran Private Academy is defined by prestigious families, wealth and prosperous people who have much time on their hands... therefore, the Ouran Host Club is about these handsome men who have time, giving hospitality to women who also have time and profit off them"

OKAY, so now you're thinking this is the most idiotic anime you may ever see, but that's just the start, so basically, girls who have time in their hands go to the club to experience every extreme fangirl's fantasy, to be surrounded by bishies and other types of gorgeous boys

i apologise if i'm making the anime sound so shallow, but it really isn't... it's actually quite amusing... but back to the story

so it really is quite a little predicament when Hirahu accidentally enters the club room, at this point, he meets the famous host club members... when he enters the club room, the host club members immediately assume that he's gay which leads to one thing then another until Haruhi is pushed to a corner and breaks an 8 million yen vase.... he is indebted to the club, so he works as the club's servant... but when they discover his "hidden beauty" they promote him to an official member of the host club...

i shall now enumerate the members

Mitsukuni Haninozuka- LOLISHOTA/INNOCENT KID type; basically a highschool senior*** who looks like an elementary kid; innocent and is said to be "deep"; mostly referred to as Hani-sempai (may also be referred to as "honey"-sempai); is the cousin and close friend of Mori; overly hyper and has a bunny that looks like kumaguro from gravitation

Takashi Morinozuka- WILD/MANLY type; more commonly known as Mori; is the closest friend of Mitsukuni Haninozuka; his selling point is the fact that he acts like the fatherly figure of the whole host club, especially to Hani

Tamaki Souo- PRINCE type; the "KING" of the host club; has the most customers; is egotistical and shallow but has a soft spot for Haruhi; refers to himself as Haruhi's "father/otou-san" (which is quite disturbing if you watch the anime); often called "Tama-chan" by Hani-sempai;is the most popular with the femal population (only god knows why lol); is the most hilarious of all the members

Kyoya Ootori- COOL type; basically the manager of the group; is the one behind the clubs funding and merchendising; does not associate with the customers of the club that often; referred to as "mother/okaa-san" by Tamaki; family runs a medical business and is implied as the richest of the bunch; selling point is the fact that he acts all mysterious and cool

Hikaru and Kaoru Hitachiin- LITTLE DEVILS/YAOI type; basically, they're the twins with an awfully nauhty attitude lol; their selling point is performing "twincest" routines for the ladies (my fave lols, YAY FOR YAOI-NESS); Hikaru is older than Kaoru by a few minutes so often times Hikaru plays the seme lols ; are in the same class as haruhi and enjoy taunting Tamaki with this fact; MAY also have a secret crush on haruhi ( i need someone to confirm this)

AND LAST BUT NOT LEAST...

Haruhi Fujioka- NATURAL ROOKIE type; basically, he's just a natural type uke-looking guy; selling point is his femeninity and ability to talk casually to girls without any gimmicks or techniques; is the twins' "toy" and the object of Tamaki's fantasies; is a scholar to the Ouran Academy and is called "commoner" most of the time; catchphrase: "you rich bastards"

okay, so that's it... BUT WAIT THERE'S MORE...!

no anime would be complete without a.... PLOT TWISSSST!!!

lols, so apparently, haruhi doesn't just look like a girl... he IS a girl!!! MUHAHAHAHAHAHA!!! DUN DUN DUNNNNNNNNN!...

lols.... so if you want to know what's gonna happen with Tamaki and the rest of the gang you NEED watch this...

i was immediately hooked the moment i watched the anime and you might be too ... it's really quite amusing because it really does seem like yaoi anime but it really isn't

this is every fangirl's fantasy... even yaoi fangirls are welcomed lols....

***hani is actually one of the oldest in the club, he and mori are seniors, tamaki and kyoya are juniors, and the twins and haruhi are sophomores... quite surprising that hani is the oldest, ne?

the opening theme is overly addictive... what do you expect? it's kawabe chieco she's my second fave jpop artist, next to YUI

oh well...

i hope you enjoy... but i recommend reading the manga first... it's SOOOOO much better and the scenes are more... -blushes- lols
