Ministry, "Wrong"

Every time Sheezy "upgrades", it seems they can't give us a bunch of shiny new options without taking away some feature that was actually working well. Usually I just sigh and begrudgingly adapt to working without it.

But this latest change really takes the cake. For some reason, the site revamp in March altered the text style or font or something. Now, everywhere I've typed the copyright symbol in my 190 descriptions, I see a question mark instead. And the accent over my name, which is also present in all of my 190 image descriptions, has turned into a Chinese character of some sort.

Color me grateful.

If only the accent over my name were affected, well, fine, it can be spelled without it. But the copyright symbol? This is an art site. Uh, it would be nice to have the copyright symbol, y'know, SHOW UP. But moreover I just can't fathom why on earth the font or text style would have been changed in the first place if it was going to affect how pre-written text looks all over the site! It shouldn't be up to the artists to go back and change ALL their established descriptions and journal entries just to make them legible.

This is just dumb. I don't know what happened but I'd like it fixed. I left a comment about this weeks ago and it was obviously not addressed. I'm getting tired of waiting.

Please, don't ask to color my work. If I want something colored, I will go looking for someone to do it, or I would do it myself. This is in my FAQ, but I get asked often enough that it bears repeating.

I don't comment or interact much because A) I am shy, B) I don't have enough time, and C) commenting out of obligation is no fun and makes being online feel like a chore. But rest assured I love ya just the same.

I do not critique, and I am not here to be critiqued. There are plenty of folks here who appreciate having their art dissected, but I'm not one of them. By no means do I consider my art perfect, but I don't feel there is any right or wrong way to draw and I resent it when someone suggests something about my work looks "wrong" because it doesn't suit their personal tastes. I don't feel I have any authority to tell someone else how to express themselves artistically, so I don't critique, even when asked. Please respect me enough to extend me the same consideration.

CURRENT BUSINESS STATS

COMMISSIONS -- Closed again while I work on the following:
1) Misc. commissions for Angela. In progress.

WISHLIST TRADES -- Closed at the moment until I finish my commission work. I will likely be opening for wishlist trades again in the near future.

ART TRADES -- Closed until further notice. If I'm interested at all, I will ask you.

That about sums it up for now. Thanks a bunch for the +watches and support!
