Matsukaze Masaya - Toki no Ito

----------------------------------------------
First, I only noticed half the things that were different when I clicked on a link from REO in an old thread to my Blues Wallpaper. ; After that, instead of reading the news THEN I went, "Wow. O_o; Bigger Avatars? I'm there. How big?"

THAT'S when I went to read. YAY! I can do so much more with a 75x75 icon. ; My first thought was like, "Alright~! Time for a new Enzan picture! ....I have just the one. X3" Poor Enzan-kun. >_>;

Next, with Angeline-sensei's help on DDT (In our Japanese Forum) I'm slowly working on translating Toki no Ito. ^.^; It's cool. She didn't say what 90% of the people do when I post up romanized lyrics to a song I only hear and can find no lyrics to. She actually helped me and corrected some of the words I couldn't make out right. :3

Most people were always very degrading and would usually tell me that I shouldn't try and write lyrics I hear since "you don't know Japanese that well". Well I always wondered then... how am I supposed to work on understanding spoken Japanese if I never try to write down what it is that I hear? I read it better than I speak it and if I need a script to go by, then I'm just slow. But if I can write down what I hear, I may begin to put it together in my mind and not need to eventually... right? I focused on reading the language for the last 5 years. Because of that, I can't speak nor understand what's spoken that well. I realize this is a drawback, but I still feel like I have made some progress in learning something and that still makes me feel good anyway.

And yes, I'll share the lyrics when Ange-sensei and I finish cleaning up my horrible translation work. ; Getting the meanings can be semi-easy. It's making it read in legible English that's usually the problem!

In other news, I passed my test for Bradley! =D I was above the required Educational Levels to get into the school.

I still brag because I'm proud. I needed a 75 in Sentence Structure to 'pass'... I got a 112.2 X3 And my Reading Comprehension had to be 75 as well I believe. That was 86. I blame the wording of the questions for not having over a 90. X_X;

I barely made it with Arithmetic. I so suck at math. ^.^; I needed a 70 I think... I know I was like... 3 points over the required minimum level. >_>;

I flunked Algebra. >_>; So glad I'm not going into Animation. ^.^; I'd have needed like a 65 and I had a 36.

I flunked a lot of Math in high school too. I've also been out of school since 1997. >_>;

You'd think 4 years of Pre-Algebra would have meant I knew it backward and forward. >_>; But I took it for 4 years because I could not understand it for shit. At least I can do basic math. I guess that's a good thing. ;

Listen to me utterly degrading myself. ^.^; Fun. But to add to the irony, folks, my mother has a degree in Accounting/Bookeeping. Don't I feel wonderful. ;

Anywho... Also took cats out for first time in a while. Yay, grass. Smokey's a hoot when you give him grass. ;

Really is like looking for more drugs from your owner. ;

"Please? One more? C'mon... PLEEEEEEEEASE?"

>_>

Yay!! Congrats, sissy! *huggle* I'm starting my very first animation class evar this summer, and now I'm afraid. ; Oh, well, I actually liked algebra and was pretty good in it, so mebbe I'll have no problems.

The changes...I'm still kinda getting used to the huge avatars. o_O I kinda liked 'em smaller only because it made for a more streamlined layout, if that makes any sense. X3; I guess what I mean is it made everything look nice and neat. I think the new icons make everything look big, clunky, and cluttered. But hey, I'm sure by the end of the month I'll probably be like, "YAY ICONZ", lol.
