(Segment copied from my LiveJournal)
Right at this moment (going around 5:00 am), I started doing some kind of a cool 'experiment' between my Nintendo DS and my computer. I was running Sonic Rush on my DS, playing as Blaze the Cat, with the sound on low (as possible).
While I 'booted' up the DS system, I opened Winamp with the '.VGZ' plugin, in order to play Sega Genesis/Megadrive music. What song I was using is from that ol' 1995 game, which looks like a comic book. It's supposed to be called "Comix Zone", using the
"Game Over" song.
HERE COMES THE GOOD PART. When I 'purposely' ran out of lives, when the "Game Over" screen came on the 'Top' screen and the 'Touch' screen, I hit the play button on the Winamp by pressing start when it came up on my DS.
And
GUESS WHAT HAPPENED. It perfectly timed the rumble effect around the last part of the 'Sonic Rush'
"GAME OVER" screen.

I actually did this for
REAL.
When that happened, I thought,
"YES!" Pretty something, huh?

However, when I first did that 'experiment', it EXTREMELY was a 'teensy' bit off by a couple of milliseconds (not a
WHOLE lot of milliseconds, if you play your cards right).
