Yay! Sheezy is back! For a while, it only had that Java chat thingie here, and for some weird reason, it didn't like my browser and kept crashing it, so I stayed away from Sheezy for a while until it was safe to come back. So I finished uploading some drawings that I hadn't uploaded here

Anyways...

For those of you who like buying at furry art shows in conventions, and are going to Anthrocon this year, you might like this Well, maybe, I suppose. All depends on WHAT you like, I guess

The series is being called "A Spectrum of Skunkettes". It'll be made up for about 6 drawings, each featuring a female skunk anthro, set in a medieval/renaissance/fantasy-type setting...because I LOVE drawing that kind of setting The dimensions of the drawings are 4x3"...tiny-drawings, they're about the size of a conbadge. So far I'm planning on making a pink, blue, green, purple, brown, and...one other colour I haven't decided yet O.o Possibly peach coloured. Each will be doing their own thing...as to what they're doing, I'll keep that a secret until I've scanned and uploaded them And no worries, they're doing anything that should be hidden from young'uns...you should know me better than that So far, as I am typing this, there's two already made: pink and blue. Only 4 more to go!

I'm getting 2 art panels at Anthrocon's art show this year: one panel for regular-sized art, and one panel for the tiny-drawings. Since 4x3" isn't a standard size for matting, I'm getting my dad to make me a stencil/template out of plexiglass, so I can use it to "trace" the size dimensions on the matting and use it to cut it out as well...it should be able to fit into a 5x7" frame...or at least that's the plan. That way, they'll be matted and framed and looking nice in the art show :)

I'm pretty excited about this little project :) I'll be doing a skunkette whenever I can, since I have a few projects I need to work on (couple conbadges, art trades). I might sneak one in inbetween my projects as well...I'll have to see what I can come up with :)

As for how they'll do at Anthrocon, I'm not sure. Skunks seem to be a popular species in the fandom (which is why I picked them...as well as I don't draw them often and it gives me a break from drawing vixens, wolves and large cats for a change!) I haven't been very fortunate in the art show lately...not just at Anthrocon's, but at a few of them so far. So I figured I'd make something that would be part of a series/group. Maybe they'll do good? Maybe they won't? I don't know...and won't know till they're in the art show, I guess. If they don't sell, well...C-ACE's just the following weekend, so they'll be in there if they didn't get sold at Anthrocon. If they do sell though, I hope they go to a happy home :)

I'm also NOT planning on making prints of them. Since they're tiny-drawings, 4x3" big, they don't really blow up very well and you end up loosing some of the sharpness and stuff (I know this from making prints of "Foxy Gryphons" which is also a tiny-drawing), so, once they're sold, they're gone :)

Anyways, just thought I'd tell you about this little project :) I do plan on having it done in time for Anthrocon. Till then, I'm keeping my fingers crossed
