Ok I was at my local drinking establishment (as I am every saturday) with a lot of cash from winning keno for the 2nd time in 2 weeks and we discover that the club now has a cocktail bar called The Sunset Lounge, it's customary for the keno winner to shout the rest of the group drinks so off we went to the new bar. It was almost empty (good, no lines) so I rocked up and grabbed a few random drinks, we all sat down and consumed. Now one thing you have to know about Cocktails is that most of them don't taste like alcohol, being drunk anyway I didn't notice and polished mine off quickly, not feeling anything I headed back to the bar and grabbed another one. I came back with a 'Fruit Tingle' it came in a 800ml shaker cup with a glass to pour it into, now oddly enough it tasted like very weak fruit juice, so a finished the whole thing off.

Suddenly I'm at home in bed, 7am, light on, radio on (tuned to static no less), shoes on, on the covers and wallet/phone still in pockets. I couldn't remember a thing from drinking the fruit tingle to that point, I didn't even remember how I got home, I called my friends and found I did absolutly nothing bad, I just had a big mental blank.

Moral: Lay off cocktails!!!!!!!

METALGEARDOMESIC! (now that I have your attention)
It's in it's final stages (I'm serious this time), I'm in the process of finishing the new supersize me egg, now that SA is finally back online I can get the last few watcher's icons to put in and if you've changed your icon since then, tough I aint making more, this took me ages as it is. Just to clarify, here is what MGD: SA version will have that makes is so different
- A few spelling errors corrected as well as a different and slightly longer ending
- New extras, the original audio from MGS2 that inspired the movie, an FAQ and different music in the menu
- More Easter Eggs, a lot more effort was put into these too, 4 eggs in total

heh I should stick this on a DVD cover or something.

I gotta stop watching adult anime
I just watched the last episode of the current vol of Gantz (ep 20) and the last ten minutes of it was by far the most traumatising stuff I've ever seen, even more than Auska's experiance in End of Evangelion. 3 characters I'd given a crap about died, one had been in it since the first episode and another got badly wounded and will probably die too. The only way to combat this was to watch some Azumanga, now that show is something else, nobody dies, nobody has any severe personality disorders, hell there's barely any conflict, I know it's a very childish anime but it's still pretty enjoyable.

The show is over (for now)
I've had to put my award-winning community radio show on hold for a while, until we get a better time slot or when I get my driver's liscence (I'm working on it) it was just too had on our parents to drive us out to the station at all hours of the night. We were fine till my co-host lost his liscence for drink driving, so let that be a lesson to all you drink drivers out there (though 90% of SA members are too young to do either).

And finally, GAMING!!
Mmmm, it's nearly here, my 360 is now paid off and ready to pick up in exactly one week right now, I already have Perfect Dark Zero (I can't get the opening theme out of my head) and I'm getting Oblivion on launch day, I'll also be getting DOA4 for free from work when it comes in. I played though Mega Man: Maverick Hunter X on PSP, good stuff, good stuff, sure it's a 3-d/2-d port of the old SNES game but it's got awesome acting/art and you even get a 25 minute back story anime movie when you beat it. Tomorrow I'm getting 24, I can't wait!!!

Oh yeah, he has no icon yet, but this guy is my little brother, I gave him the bright idea to join up. He's only got one art up so far, I bet he'd have more if he didn't spend every waking hour playing MY consoles!!!
