He's doing 1000% better! He's now in ICU at the Landstuhl military hospital. If he remains stable throughout the night, they'll move him down to a ward floor tomorrow morning. He might be able to come home as early as next week!

I have my fingers crossed that the recovery is nice and speedy but is carefully done and kept track of by the doctors. Watch him like a hawk and do not let him leave the hospitol before the doctors say he is ready. The doctors know what they are doing and should be allowed to do so.
Now the Sad Story of why I am very cautious of heart attacks.
My dad left the hospitol when he believed he was ready, not the doctors who actually KNOW, after having quadruple bypass surgery. It was a mistake and now I have no father due to a massive heart attack at 4:00 AM Christmas Eve 99'. The doctors wanted him to stay a few weeks longer for observation and tests, with that he would have lived.
