Another EA night
Once again I traveled to Sydney with the others to have EA shmooze up to us again, via playable 360 titles (all sport), booze and waiters waking around with mystery finger food. We also got a preview of Black, which looks like Rainbow Six + Burnout, looks pretty good. Oh and on the way back a sampled a double quarter pounder from McDonalds, it was bloody huge. Not a good idea to have after having maccas for lunch that same day.
Mmmmmm, that's good gaming!
After a massive slump in decent games released (and the banning of Mark Ecko) we finally got some good (dare I say GREAT) games out. I finally played Katamari, and daaaaaamn, namco should be fined for not giving us the first one, if you can look past the kiddie feel of the game it's really an awesome experiance. Speaking of awesome, Shadow of the Colosuss is the definition of awesome! It's like ICO only more action and a huge world to explore, it is a bit short but everybody has to play this at least once! Finally Psyconauts, this is as close as we'll get to another Tim Schaffer adventure game, only because it's made by the man himself, it's full of the trademark stuff you expect from Fandango and DOTT, only with plenty of platforming, god-damn hilarious!!
Anime related
Just watched the final episodes of Elfen Leid, oh god it was so damn twisted. Characters get killed in a snap but it has these cliche nice moments that make it a very unique series. Gantz still rivals DBZ in dragged out action, I'm found regularly yelling "just shoot it!!!!" at the tv while watching. Next to watch is the end of Midori Days, the total opposite of those 2 shows, nobody gets killed AT ALL!!!
Nearly done
MGD is on the verge of done and that's all I'm saying there. Yesterday I spent some time on Eric's Violent Pornography collab, I know full well I'm over the deadline, but I'm sure he wont mind a few days late (right?....).

Did I tell you I got a Sweet new PC? My Laptop died. But My new computer won't take my tablet as a tablet without the driver cd, and I haven't had time to find the cd with Work at the fact that my cat's gone missing. *sniff* Little Spike's out there...

Ha ha, my Mom's been addicted to The Sims 2 for the Xbox for nearly two months now.
But Psyconauts sounds like a very fun game, I've seen it on TV a couple times, I might rent it at some point, since I'm saving up my money for some DS games and such.
