I swear I will!

Is it so much to ask that when someone leaves for a trip that they call you SOMETIME after they arrive??

Am I wrong in assuming this???

Leavening to a place where a million things can go wrong in the course of one day, and never been before??

Ok so the parents are off to Mexico this week ( yaya I know time to party). And the flights left on Friday. And I have YET to hear back from them.

I haven't heard word of any plane's crashing (knock on wood) so I'm sure they got there, its AFTER THAT, that's got me paseing the floor in front of the phone.

See the day before the flight left (when else would someone get hurt?) when dad was out in the barn trying to put the new breaks on the 4wheeler. Well the story goes that the jack he was using wasn't oiled and when he went to lower it, it wouldn't budge. So in one of my fathers 'lesser based judgment decisions'; he whacked it with a hammer.

I can hear you groan from here.

Well the jack came out from under the 4wheeler and up smacking my dad in the elbow, and then thumping him upside the head.

Needless to say he wasn't looking good when left.. His elbow had a lump the size of an egg on it and this temple, cheek, and right side of face was considerably swollen.

If he's not black and blue when he gets home, then he will be if he doesn't call me ASAP!

Hell I went on a trip one time and I had to call everyday. And last time they called me on vacation, they sounded sun drunk and was surprised I was on my way out the door for school.

AHH! Parents!! They are worse then kids!!


And another thing that's pissing me off lately, is the journal updates of some of the artist I watch. I mean when I thing of a 'journal' I think of something written simply so people care READ it and know what it means!

Not some little rhymes and poems and a random assortment of verbs and nouns that I have to spend 5 min sitting there looking at, trying to

a) Figure out if it's really ANYTHING IMPORTANT enough to read.
b) WHAT it is they are trying to say (I've resorted to reading others replies for this)
c) What they were shooting at the time to make this mess make sense in their head?!!?

I have limited access time online and I prefer spending it on something that doesn't make my eyes bleed.
