and Bon Jovi concert rantings! Read on~)

That's right. I'm not dead. Where have I been? In California for 3 weeks, at my boyfriend's. Was fun, no snow, no ice, even took the top off my bf's Del Sol once. Went in the offices of Universal Studios (bf's step-father's gonna become a bigshot over there with his Jaws models). Holidays were quiet, it was nice. Hopefully Ed's family likes my gifts... I loved what I got.

An awesomely cute bunny plush, super soft and nice and happy. It's paws are heavier than his body so he can sit up. ^___________^ A spring coat (well spring here in Québec, winter over there in Canyon Country ; ) with like wool inside. Warm and fuzzy. Got flavored lipgloss, I love the vanilla one, and discoved I don't dislike the cinnamon one after all. And I got real lipstick from Victoria's Secret as well as a super-cute mini pink teddybear from Mikiko. Oh got a hair straightener from Ed. It works great, but I gotta get used to using it on my own, my sis taught me how. And it's pink. Lastly, I got a notepad, will write my jap lessons in there.

Got back a week ago but was too busy to get here (so much cleanup and work!). My homecoming flight was hell. Short version is they overbooked my connexion flight (had the ticket a month in advance, even had my seat number darnnit) but there was a greek/whatever old SMEEEELLY man they had trouble with so I got no customer service whatsoever. They were like 4 people just standing there, having no clue what to do about the smelly man that all the people on the plane complained about (I understand them, he smelled horrible. A lil' girl even got sick!) and yeah. Except one black woman, they all were doing nothing. We were 10 people (10!!) overbooked and they didn't tell us anything, we were waiting there thinking they would book another flight for us (the least we could do). But I had to go find a service counter myself, and apparently there were 2 seats left when the plane took off!!!! God I hate US Airways now, never book with them people!! (And had told Ed that they were good, hah!)

So that's what's been happening. Sorry I was MIA for so long. And I didn't even draw any X-mas gifts or SSMC contest portraits or anything. ><; I'll try to get to it ASAP! My bf even bought me new inking supplies and gave me his prismacolors-overstock. But at least I managed to buy gifts, will be shipping them Monday (sorry they'll be so late, belated Merry Christmas and Happy New Year everyone!)

New Sheezy version
So, what do y'all think about the new Sheezy? Personnaly I think it's sleek. Finally looks professionnal, y'know? But it's taking me forever to get used to it. I miss the old updates style (might say 'cause I'm an old dinosaur in the net world... Been online for 7 years now so I'm used to checkboxes... >.>

And well, I didn't grow up liking Flash AT ALL (back in the day, no one knew how to use it right) so all this animation, less-database-looking -ness is confusing me. ; But I LOVE the new settings section. WOOT~!

The whole re-categorize your art thing sucks though. I guess keeping the old system for old art and having the new system for new art was too complicated and would've clutered the database too much? Anyway, I feel for you guys with huge galleries. I rarely draw and don't have much on here and I still don't wanna go through all of it, lol.

The clubs thing confuses the hell out of me. Apparently Topaz had to make a new name so it would work (just sucks, you know) and I can't figure out how members can submit their artwork to us (especially without a PM system, which forces us to keep our old account). CC put a lot of work in it, it shows and he got awesome ideas, but I think he forgot about the PM I sent him way back with my suggestions. I'll just have to learn how to use the system, evaluate and critique it, and send once again my suggestions. Anyway, it's a great start, even if a confusing one. I wish I had more free time... *sigh* Anyway, if someone could write up a fast guide to how the club system works, I would be ever so grateful~

Oh, and it seems I lost comments on my main page... All the ones after early-december... It kinda sucks, but really I just lost my comments with God, so no real lost there. Hah.

Jap Lesson Jan 16th 2006
Gosh, already 2006... Anyway, not many lessons left; my teach is going back to Japan for a year or two in mid-February. Will try to learn as much as possible, and perhaps borrow my honey's Learn Jap CDs *hint hint* and watch anime un-subtitled and the such. Gonna try to learn Jap the way I learned english, but since I'm old now, it's gonna be harder.

Actual lesson (sorry if there's french thrown in there for my own convinience):
- To watch Kyou Kara Maou (apparently it's great... lol)

Bon Jovi concert
I didn't have time to write about it, had so much to do before leaving to Cali. The show was AWESOME. How can Jon be that sexy at his age? And he went in the crowd a few times, a gift even got to hug him (seh wouldn't let go ) and stuff. Great songs all throughout, too. My sis and I didn't stay sitting much. And I sang and yelled so much, I was mute when we got out of there. They started with "Last Man Standing" (newest album "Have A Nice Day") with Jon at the very end of the stadium opposite of the scene, with a guitar atop some cube. The crowd and us were very surprised, haha. All throughout, the crowd was crazy. It was cool.

If you asked me the day after which songs they played, I could've almost said them all, but it's been so long... Found the list on a site, lemme put short comments of mine in there:
Last Man Standing / You Give Love A Bad Name / Complicated (from new album, it pretty great) / Born To Be My Baby () / Story of My Life (New album too) / I'll Sleep When I'm Dead (Always makes everyone dance ) / Runaway / Just Older (I love that one...) / Last Cigarette / I Won't Back Down (Tom Petty cover) (The heck is this? Only song I couldn't sing along to... *sniff*) / Have A Nice Day / Who Says You Can't Go Home / It's My Life / I'll Be There For Your (acoustic) / Blaze of Glory (acoustic) (Ok, that's the one Jon just appeared in the crowd right in front of us. Too bad we were a floor too high lol. He got hugged and stuff, heh) / Always (acoustic) / Captain Crash & the Beauty Queen From Mars (I love that one too) / Bad Medicine / Raise Your Hands (Darn right we rose our hands ) / Livin' On A Prayer

Encores (I yelled so much for them): Welcome To Wherever You Are / Everyday / Treat Her Right (?) / Run Run, Rudolph (The heck?) / Wanted Dead Or Alive

Anyway, awesome show. Better than the other 2 I went to I think.
