I read Jyo-chan's jounal, then went to Spencer's... I spent half an hour looking through everything before I gave up and went to Jyo-chan's DA Page, finding a link there to this Print.

I agree with the fact that you are entitled to you opinion. Hell, I've done some joke art shown on AIM about SA's crappy servers a while ago, but I still choose SA over DA. I don't really HAVE to explain myself. I also realize that everyone DOES have an opinion, but I agree that making that into a Print just tells people it's okay to be hateful and to go ahead and bash things they don't personally like and look! You can make money off of it! I read this guy's Journal entry he wrote on this thing (He's disabled comments on his 'art', by the way.) Yes, it's funny and yes nice art in terms of how it looks overall. He says he means no harm, yet from all that I understand, he would fan the fire of anyone that agreed with his opinion and be very rude and spiteful to anyone who disagreed no matter how nice.

He disallowed commenting and said
"Sorry for the inconvinience, but I'm tired of the disrespect just because I like DA better. So anyways, fuck you, people who can't take a joke, and can't except my opinion on something. Thanks to all the people with a sense of humor..."

So in other words, I can like your art style, but because I don't like DA better than SA, and find what DA's done with this piece of 'art' I don't have a sense of humor? It wasn't that you drew it, it's how you're acting about it. What really made me have to write about this was something he said in his Journal about Spencer.

"An admin from the site (SA) actually commented on the picture and started telling me how wrong I was, and I literally told them, "Wth ?? Maybe if you'd focus a little more on your OWN site, and a little less about what I post on DA, then SA probably wouldn't have so many problems with its servers "..."

I'm sorry, but I don't think Spencer would say that he asked what was wrong with SA if that's no what he said. I also don't think he's paying more attention to what this guy posted on DA instead of his own site. I read Spencer's Jounal Entry about it, and the entry this guy puts up sounds like Spencer sent him a message cursing him out and saying he was wrong and sucked. That doesn't sound much like the Spencer I do know from here...

And on personal note, the last thing that annoyed me was over use of "" all over his Entry AND in the Submission Description. Is he trying to do that to be sarcastic? Trying to "show it was just a joke" and going overboard? I don't know. BUT I do find his manner a little condescending to others.

Odd, though. He's marked as a Banned Deviant. Was this recent or was his Ban lifted and the status was just never changed. Jyo-chan said he had been banned before. He also went off abou "Sheezy Protectors"... Oy. Then to go on and say repeatedly that no one "except"ed his opinion and expected him to accept theirs. Yes, I missed reading some of the comments on that submission, but I'm going to guess by how everyone else has been acting that some of them were nasty, but I'll bet; judging by what Spencer saw; that some of them were just other people's opinions that were against DA and for SA, withou being crude, yet they were deleted.

Adding that onto the fact that DA ACCEPTED and MADE IT INTO A PRINT PEOPLE CAN NOW BUY just makes me realize that DA either has no morals, no ethics, or just doesn't give a shit. Or a combination of those.

While hunting through the Prints, trying to find this thing... I also have to question how shots of girls naked (not even 'tastefully nude', just 5 cent naked girl shots) qualify as Print-Level/Quality Art?

God, I love Double-Standards.

One more thing here before I go see Mom at the hospital. (She's fine now, she had some surgery. Opened clogged arteries in her legs and removed some of her toes and part ofher foot due to her horrible circulation for so long. No she doesn't have Diabetes, before you ask. ^.^; We've heard that question a LOT.)

Why does everyone think SA is a place for cheap, badly-drawn Anime Porn? Granted, at first, a lot of art here was adult-oriented because it was allowed and that was sort of an issue as to why people then left when the hosting changed... (or was finally noticed in the TOS. I forget the specifics. My mind is not 100% focused right now. x.O)Yet, that seems like that's all anyone remembers and thinks of SA now.

Frankly I like the people I met here over most of the people I saw over on DA before I came here. It's more of a Family feel. I haven't had anyone super-negative so far around here and I'm not afraid of Anonymous Comments or New People who comment on my artwork here. I feel better here. I feel more free to do what I want to without fear of one line looking wrong and getting banned or warned because of it. I really did feel scared to submit anything on DA. Sounds stupid now, I guess, but I still feel like I don't know where things should be put and that warning about getting in trouble if your shit's put in a place it doesn't belong <sarcasm>really makes me wanna submit more work there! </sarcasm>
