I was looking for an artist of my past. About 3 or 4 years ago I stumbled on a pet page on neopets. I can still remember it. The page belonged to an owner of a blue faire aisha.

I was blown away.

Her art....I just can't describe it. It was beyond words, beyond anything I can dream of doing. Her art had everything I love. Her style was an unique bend of anime and realism, a style I was pushing for since I first layed eyes on her work. I counldn't tear my eyes away from her work. I shivered when I looked her art. I never felt this way before. Every thing she did was perfect.
I want to find that site again. I want to feel that feeling again.

After hours of digging up old memories and running around neopets....I FINALLY FOUND HER.
Her art is still nice but...not has nice as I remember it. Was my memory failing on me or...have I improved?
I did a bit of research and found her DA account and a few pics in OC.

Her art is till amazing, much better then mine, but....that awe-stuck feeling is gone. Then I realized I haven't had that feeling for a while.I caught a voice on the back of my that said, 'Pff...why were you EVER so amazed at her art?' Then I rammed my head against the table. Agh. Don't think that Millie. You are NOT a superior artist compared to ANYBODY. That's a WEAK mind-set.
As I look closely I see in some ways, her art rubbed of on to me. I see that the way she drew her eyes, is faintly the way I draw them. It's odd. Maybe I'm going the right direction. One day I will catch up to her. I am her silent rival and she is my goal. I will catch up.
