Well, I've gone to two days of College now, and I can tell you right now, I love it. Assiniboine Community college is known accross Canada has having the best Web Design course in the country.

And damn, do we ever get to play with great toys.

Our course gets to exclusivly use the College's only Mac lab which has 22 Dual Cored G5 Macintosh Computers with Wacom Tablets! No one else gets to use them. NO ONE.

When I first got logged into one of those monsters, I immeditly put one of my wallpapers up on the desktop, and one of the students next to me said that there was no way I made that. So I opened up Photoshop CS, and made the wallpaper right infront of him. My teacher saw me do it, and was impressed ^__^

I really can't wait to get into the nitty gritty work, especially Audio and Video editing. The programs on these macs are amazing. They have the Compleate Adobe Creative Suite, Apple iMovie HD, Macromedia Flash, and many others that I can't remember.

Now, onto the review I mentioned.

I went and rented the Neon Genesis Evangelion Platinum Collection Volume 01.

For those not in the know, Gainax went and remastered EVERY frame of animation for the 26 episode series, Remastered the Audio into Dobley 5.1, and made changes to several episodes.

And they did ONE HELL of a job. Damn, I own the series on VHS, and I've seen the series on DvD, and both versions don't even hold a candle to this version. The Quality is just amzing. And listening to the audio in true surround only added to already amazing series.

I only have one Beef with this though, and that was the commentary. They could have done commentary on ALL the episodes, that would have been great, but they only did the first two episodes, and all they talked about was the other series they worked on, and they only commented on one particular part of the series, and that was Spike Spensor (Voice of the panzy ass Shinji) getting a real bad cough from a blood curdling scream from one take.

That was dissappointing. it was supposed to be Commentary, emphasis on the COMMENT, not plugging your previous works.

Well, thats enough Ranting for now...
