About time I posted an update.
Well... A couple of things happened recently, both of which have been emotionally taxing.

First off, I got a THIRD kidney stone. This was bad enough on its own, but A: It came the day before the fourth of July, and B: it was during our annual party. I spent 95% of the time milling around the house in pain, pale as a ghost, so I couldn't join in any of the festivities. I was either lying in my mom's comfortable chair with a hot pad on my side, or in the basement, trying to cool down. I still feel miserable for not showing my face that day. But it gets worse (be warned, slightly graphic content ahead)...
Apparently, the stone I had 2 weeks prior had broken up, and I hadn't passed it. One week after the party... I had passed both stones (one of which was about the size of a pea). The hospital asked me to hold onto them, so they could figure out what was causing them. Mom called the hospital, and...... they didn't want them. Gee, I went thru the equivalent of child birth twice, only to find that it was wasted. To make matters worse, they had me scheduled for a lithotripsy (they blast the stone out ultrasonically), and I don't need it anymore (I hope). The more I hear about this and learn how much of a burden I am... the more I just want to go to the Belsay road bridge and do a concrete belly flop onto westbound I-69.

The other even came up just recently, and my mind is running an endless loop about it. informed me recently about an open artist position on a site she works for, Nutrinopets (Similar to Neopets from what I've seen). I would like to apply there, but I have several reservations about it. These are the only three I'm willing to mention up front...
1: It's intended for kids, and if you've been in my gallery, you know what I mean .
2: I don't have a PayPal account, and am to paranoid to get one for some reason...
3: The crap I had to deal with from VCL.
There are specifics to the last reason, and other more personal ones, but I'm not going to bring them up.
