Ok, my birthday's on the 9th. What's everyone getting me? ! *cackle*

Anyway... ^.^; I know have shit to do... and I'm too distracted to do it. ^.^; However, I still managed to make a new (doggie!) tag for myself on FP, and used that image and made a kitty... then took em both and made a new Journal header. The names are the names of my Fursonae. >B I like that word. Accalia was a character made for a Persona in a now-dead RPG called Altered Destiny. I liked the design insanely. Jinx was the first fan character I ever made who's stuck with me all these years. She was part of the original TMNT Universe and I still have the postcard I received that said she may have made it into the comics if there weren't already too many cats. :3 In the same reply I was told to keep drawing. Maybe I'll make a comic of my own one day. It was very positive and inspiring despite the rejection of my character. And yes, I was young. Who cares. ; I'd planned on making it a transparent image, but the colors had to be taken down to 256 and that ruined the shading and eyes on the animals. x.@So it's a png.

And... I just have to say that I know it sounds stupid, but do you know how good it feels to see something as simple randomly looking at your watch list and noticing that you're listed as someone's friend on SA? :3 Like I said. Sounds stupid. Means much.

RAWR! Anyway... Ok, I checked my e-mail. Nothing from polywog... HOWEVER... I got ANOTHER mail from Xanga. This person requested their log in info for their account. *snirk*

Well being the paranoid person I can be I changed my e-mail's password today.. and it was ranked as 'strong', and it's nothing like the old one. >B Plus I doubt anyone knows the answer to my secret question. ;

On a serious note, I got sick of this. Tracing an IP is not illegal as well as logging into an account that you have the information (GIVEN TO YOU) for is not. In fact, using someone else's e-mail address can be considered a form of harrassment since it sends unwanted e-mail to the user who owns it. So the fact that my e-mail was used to sign up for an account I didn't want... That's how I got the log in info. Can't help it my sis got the info from a screencap. ^.^;

Anyway, since they requested their log in information, at the bottom of the e-mail, I was given the IP the request came from and so; using the IP Trace tool linked to on the RPG Board's host site - in the Admin Panel-; the last place able to receive a ping from was an ISP in Cincinnati. 4 Timed Out Pings after that resulted in an Aborted Trace.

But get this, Jyo-chan... They're on effin DIAL-UP. >_>;; The ISP's URL states that it's a DIAL UP connection. Probably why it timed out and was aborted since a Dial Up Connection doesn't maintain a Static IP.

I repeat. As far as I am aware, I have done nothing illegal as the IP address given was not used in an illegal way. I only learned where the hell they are, not any real personal information anyway. >B Aside from all that, if it's my e-mail account used and I was given the infomation... by rights, doesn't that make it my xanga account? Rawr.

Anywho. Along those lines, I e-mailed the artist like you suggested I should, Jyo-chan. And I got a reply. It made me feel good, I want to share it because it should make you feel good too. And others who are against Art Theft. :3 *coughs and points to above speech >_>;*

No, they did not ask for permission.. however.. they did leave the link on the pic which is fine with me... and I usually let people keep the art up because it advertises my site. My only issue in this case... is the person is a complete ass about it. So... I kind of want to... out of spite.. make them take it down. LOL! I just hate the way they're so cocky about the whole thing...

So I'm sure you can understand my hesitation.

By the way... I checked out your art site. Good stuff!

That e-mail in my inbox made me feel like no matter how bad my day was, it didn't matter. So that overrode the bad day and thus, today is good. >3 Yeah, I didn't check my mail yesterday, but still. ;

This brings me to another point I wanted to make. Yes, directed at Jyo, but in general. I read what Jyo-chan put on the Anti-Theft Club on DA. I also read the comments that told her closing that was like giving up on her dream. It's a good dream and it's a good cause. So what if you can't get DA to change its policies or feel that you can't catch all the Theives out there. Maybe you DID set your goals a little high. But the club was not a failure. You still have a lot of support and it's still a wonderful idea. Think of those that you DID change. People sometimes don't know what they're doing is theft and what you did wasn't accuse them and berate them, but teach them that it was wrong and they haven't done it again. Right? And what about those who had their art stolen? If it wasn't for you, they'd have felt alone and that it didn't matter because no one cared. Your club was also a support for those people.

So despite what you said, I think you could or should at least create an Anti-Theft Club on SheezyArt. At least to suuport those who have had their art stolen for somewhere to turn to when they have nothing else. To support the cause and ideal that it is wrong to steal other people's art. Link to StarNine. (I know that was someone both of us watched, but I looked at 6 people can can't find the Journal Entry! x.O Who was the SA user that made that page? .__.; ) Give links to the SA Admin and tell people to direct reports of theft on SA to them. And if you want to continue that, give links for DA Admin and tell them good luck. ^.^;;; Expand on your original idea. Make it workable and feasable. I'd even be willing to help you as much as I could. Don't be afraid to ask for help, Jyo-chan. Besides. If you don't do it. Someone else will. (HA! And if it goes too long, that someone may be me. ; *pokes with a plushie*) You need to keep your dream. It wasn't bad. It just needs to be altered a little. when you set the bar too high, you're likely to hit it before you can get over it. *snug* Just try again and don't give up. :3

Also, good news is... I'm registered for Otakon! ^.^ ....I so need to get off my lazy ass and make my costume... and alter the other one I have in the closet. >_>;;; Then figure out if I wanna alter some clothes I have for a third or buy MORE fabric and make a new one for the third... though I could just be the same character twice. Who cares. ; ^.^;

I'm thinking of uploading all my old gifts that I did for others here. I dunno about uploading all of my old art. O.o Hn. But it was looking at the old stuff I did that has me redoing a gift i did for someone. My God, my coloring was atrocious. O____o Not to mention the drawing itself. ^.^; And since it was my own stuff, I think I can redo it. ;

It scared me so much, yes, it made its way above other things I was doing. ^.^;;

I'm also doodling something else in my sketchpad, but I don't think it qualifies as a project. >B ^.^;
