- "Welcome to My Life" by Simple Plan
Yesterday evening I was wheeled away from my building with an oxygen mask and an ekg strapped to me. And I'm not kidding. I was brought to Sutter Davis Hospital about a 10 minute bike ride away from the Dorms. pretty shitty. Well, I'll give ya the full story here and at my new blog. Here's the lowdown:
I'm chilling in my friend's room in my dorm and I realized that I was breathing pretty heavily. So I was like, this might not be good (this is at 2100) but I don't say anything to her. Then about an hour later I ask her if it's a bad thing that I'm having trouble breathing and that my fingers are tingling. this is at 2200. Then I walk down back to my room to get my lung capacitor and albuterol just in case I did have an athsma attack. While walking I notice that I'm really dizzy, like I'm not getting ehough O2 to mah brain. So I get back to my friend's room and take my lung capacity. it's at 400 (basically 4 liters which is pretty normal for a deep breath) so I took no albuterol. Then I call my mama and she wants me to go to ER, but I don't wanna go by ambulance. It's too expensive. So we look for anyone in the building with a car. Can't find anyone with one. Shit.
By this time its about 2300 and I tell her my chest is starting to hurt. then I call my mom half an hour later because the pain arced to the other side of my chest and now hurts on both sides. She told me call ER. so I called the Davis emergency number and they sent out firemen and an ambulance. The Fire ppl came first and put me on O2 and took my blood pressure which was pretty normal. The purple in my nail beds started to go away when they had me on the mask. Then the EMT ppl came and they checked my vitals again and said I had to go to the hospital for a follow-up. So they put me on a ekg machine and walked me down the stairs and put me in a gurney and wheeled me into the EMT. Upon getting outside I found two police cars, two firetrucks and the lone EMT. >.> iteresting... Anyways, got into ambulance and when they closed the doors and started moving, I had to get an IV of NS and that freaked me out because I'm terrified of needles. But they got it in and then I had an anxiety attack because of the IV.
Get to the hospital, and I don't know my insurance shit >.> but they do everything anyways. I get set up on another ekg machine and I get blood drawn and Ativan and Benedryll added to the IV. After a while, they find nothing wrong in the blood test and I get discharged with some anxiety drugs to take if I get anxious. Two more drugs to my menagerie of pills, some of which are narcotics...
Fell asleep when I got back because of the Ativan and woke up too late for my only class today (my other class got cancelled because the TA is out of town) And missed the quiz in the class.

shit. oh well. My arm still hurts where the IV was and it burns. T_T are IVs supposed to hurt like hellfires? T_T I never want another IV ever again in my life.
Anyways, that was my yesterday. I got a ride in an ambulance and nothing was resolved T_T I think I'm gunna go to Cowell Health later today or tomorrow and do a follow-up appointment with Dr. Kono. T_T this hole in my arm hurts like it's been burned! :(
Well that's all. I'm in pain. T_T my chest still hurts, now that the pain from the IV has receded.
Anyways, trades/requests for art and poetry are open. Ask and you shall recieve! ^_~ anyways that's all.
