I'm leaving sheezy on a possibly permanant basis. When I first moved over here, the site worked wonderfully, and was a marked improvement on DA in several areas.
Now I'm lucky if the page even loads, and instead of getting better ads or removing them all together, now there are THREE sets of ads instead of just one. And they still give malware, and they still are irritating and noisy.
I realize that DA isn't much better on usability, but Sheezy is no longer reliable, and I've barely been here in about a month, yet almost nothing has changed.
If you would like to still watch me, I'm whiskerwing over at Deviantart as well.
I hope this will get resolved, but I'm through holding my breath for it -- I don't want people to think I'm not commenting because I don't enjoy their art -- it's because I can't even load the page.

The HOSTS file is my friend. I keep forgetting how annoying surfing online is without it. I also added DA's ad servers to it, as well. ads.deviantart.com and ad.deviantart.com

Yes I know that DA n SA do have ads galore, but I moved here as a last resort than DA. Also with all the stuff on here that's free its much better than DA. DA will make you pay to have such nice features that SA offers. Also they dont have everything this place does. I know that this place is kind of glitchy, but the problem is that this site is growing rapidly and soon will be too big for the server. Therefore this site needs to be relocated to a completely new server-one that's big enough to hold all of its information. We all live in a digital world now whether we like it or not. I just lectured my mom on this because she hates how glitchy things are and how sensative they can be. I'm sorry to see you leave. I really really hope you stay. Leaving because this site is meerly too large for its smaller server isn't any reason good enough to uproot yourself and leave. Ads are all over the place on EVERY site. It doesnt matter anymore. Wherever you go you see ads! They will always be around to haunt you just like spyware-my com just crashed because of it- and all them good viruses pluss others like comercials, radio comercials, adds in a newspaper or magazine, ads on the go -signs advertising about things that you can find on buildings, roadsides,ect-, spam, and all of those things that are just so irritating that we all want to kill them. Personaly I don't watch TV anymore because of the abundant number of comercials. I hardly listen to the radio because I can't handle listening to commercials/ads. I'm sick of driving around and everywhere I look ADS!!!!!!! Gah I'm so hoping my friend builds this Anti-Spyware virus thing for me just like he built this Anti-Virus virus for me. What these screen mate/viruses do is they attack all and any spyware/viruses. They come in 2 forms. A sheep-the one I use for my antivirus- and an orange- wich doesnt work as well as the sheep whom catches 99.9% of all viruses and adapts to changing viruses. If you need soemthing better than Avast, Norton, ect. Let me know and I'll gladly send you this antivirus. It's a little anoying because the sheep runs around on your screen, but atleast you know it kills the viruses. The only bad part of it all is you have to start that up immediatly when your computer starts. Also if you can, disconnect the phoneline from your computer everytime you don't use the internet. Reason being is that way you know what is on your computer and that no one can access it to hack it or fill it full of viruses. Libbyrust really has a good point with the sites. They do work. Try downloading Fire Fox too. ~Kitt

Oh btw try downloading the Yahoo toolbar too.. this will also help with pop up ads. (If you have windows XP make sure you have your firewall on and also the pop up blocker.)
