Aye, it's late. Very late. I wish this announcement was to signify the opening, finally. Unfortunately, it is not. Not just yet.

I've really, really dropped the ball on public relations here. I messed up, no denying it. So here I am, attempting to make a mends.

As you may recall, the last time I made an announcement concerning PhoxNet, it was that our second host had screwed us over, just like the first had. It almost seems impossible, but it has infact happen two more times, with two different hosts since then.

Morever, the site is now being written and finished in two different principle languages (script-side), so it can be hosted on any system we can actually secure for the hosting without having to rush-recode anything.

These are both large parts of the delay time thus far. The other integral component is that this a two-person project, and both myself, and my partner on PhoxNet (sly), have lives away from these computer machines.

Without going into detail, and simply put, Sly's life was intensely hectic for a while there, and myne has personally been a mess.

The project -WAS- nearly abandoned there, but we can now say for certain, after coming so close to breaking and still keeping with it, nothing, god, man, catastrophe or otherwise is going to stop us from getting this finished and opening the site.

That said, I can no longer give a tenative ETA on when the site will actually open. It seems every time we determine a date, something happens to fuck it up.

I'm not normally a supersticious person, but this is simply (if horrifically frustrating) pattern. So I will simply say this; the site will be open when it opens. We'll do everything in our power to ensure that time will be as soon as we can manage.

To those who are waiting on the site to open, and those who are signed up and layed down to be a part of it; I'm truly sorry for the extensive, ridiculous delays. I can only hope they haven't degraded your interest in the project.

Any artist who has signed up to be featured on the site, who no longer wishes to be a part of the project, I can understand why - feel free to email me at devx@iinet.net.au and I will remove you from the database.

To those who haven't given up on us yet; thank you, your continued interest and enthusiasm about the project is what's keeping us going.

To those who have regrettably decided to give up on us; I'm sorry. I will feel no remorse or gripe toward you if you wish to be removed.

I was beginning to wonder about PhoxNet recently, however nothing can or will make me give up waiting for it to open. In fact, I've been waiting quietly about it.

Although I am saddened to hear that things had gone horribly, horribly wrong, I am also glad to hear that the site's completion is coming to a close. I will continue to wait for when it is officially finished and open to the public.

Wow... it's too bad that it hasn't been a walk in the park, but it's nice to know you haven't given up on the project compleatly.

Hopefully it will all work out eventually (and hopefully sooner than later).

How's your hand doing? BTW...

I agree with the superstitions, completely! *does an excited happy dance* I'm still all ready for the site, however long it takes!!!

Just read what I said on FA, dev. Also, in a few days I'll have some money on a paypal account, if you need help getting hosting monetarily, I'll glady help that way too...
