Baby Bloomer

NOTE: there is darkness toward the rightside of the picture due to my broken scanner. Lucky it was b&W or else you would be seeing a big huge yellow streak.

I'm not exceptionally proud of this, but I thought I'd keep putting things up. I did this extremely quickly like 20 mins to an hour, for a young boy with a son. Truely he is young, but it heartens me to see he loves his baby so much. I drew this picture for him as fast as I could because he might be moving on to another place very soon. Anyways, I inked the outline and roughly colored it with pencil. I thought of that photographer who does weird things like dressing them up as flowers. I looked at many many roses to reference the feeling of the rose. It went pretty well. Anyways..that's it.
No critiques please Just because it's a quicky piece meant for an emotional thing You know I try not to ask of that often and prefer your advice, so I hope you'll indulge me in this one.
