As a MAD! fan when I ran across this image of Thor, I had to use it. On top of that it's not the normal front facing pose so it required I attempt the wall a different way.
Originally the image is of Thor facing the Hulk. Also, the image was in a comic page format not wallpaper format. I wanted the image to be more epic. So, I edited in an image of the fire giant Surtur. I used PS to bring out his colors and created better flames. Thor's image took some real work. I added to and re-worked the lightning effects. Brought out Thor's colors. I had to redo the ground he's standing on and give it more impact as well as expand on it so that it was wallpaper size. Then I worked around Joe's signature, because I felt it needed to be in the pic.
