AW! I love Balto! I still have it on VHS and watch it every now and then! As for the snow, it looks fine, maybe just make it whiter. E.g. in Photoshop, I'd duplicate the snow layer.
It looks just like him! The snow looks fine to me, I like how fluffy the flakes appear.

I like the coloring, but I kinda miss how he has no back legs (perfectelly hidden by front legs)
