Not as great as I had wanted it, but I feel proud to let everyone who knows me that this is a complete new style for me. It's called "Following the Rules".

I, actually, use what they teach in "How to Draw" books. In the past, I just drew without following the rules. Now, I have decided to follow said rules. Feel proud, SheezyYearbook. Feel very proud... well, not really, but I'm just excited.

Actually, drawing books just work for a start. You should NEVER follow someone's rules piece by piece; but, when you're beginning drawing, it tends to be a good idea.
If you really want to draw better, however, try your hand at realism. Not only does it give your pictures a unique look, but it helps you in your drawing-skills. Like. Alot.

*steps in after a long time*Ok, I'm gonna give some honest opinions and advice, sorry for any insult I would have caused.
ADVICE:
Ok, first of all, "how to draw" books are good for beginners to start their stuff up, so ya keep practicing.
However, when it comes to a personal style, there's no such thing as "following rules". I fact, I developed my style(s) by trying to draw up styles of other artists, along with experimenting stuff on my own, and later adapting them to form the look I want.
So here's my advice: Keep learning from the book, but try to experiment a little. After that, compare that with other people's works and find out how you can improve.
Critic:
Ok, here's a few pointers: 1. try decreasing the nose size & 2. work on the face shape
Hope this helps~^^
