Bone Collector

My made up character for Slayers the Anime

Here's what the Bone Collector looks like.
He is mostly bone of many other creatures.
Also has a large rodent tail. Not exactly
a rat but a large creature like a rodent.

He is capable of swapping his head with so many other skeletons as long as its no smaller then
a normal human head. His common head is the young head of a Forest Dragon. His life is mostly and
really based on collecting bones. Nothing else really except rest once and a while but never sleeps
or eats. The Bone Collector is a small set of breeds where it is rare to meet one. If someone was to meet one they would turn the other way and run. They dont have a good reputation at all, they have been known
to capture any being bringing them back to their home and skin them alive then collect their bones. They
are nothing like that at all, they are gentle intelligent species. They only collect bones of those who
already have been dead long enough to have decomposed to nothing but bones. They are born intelligent allowing them to survive on their own from their first day. They aren't born like anyone else, they go threw a ritual of letting their own soul out of their dying body and planting it into the soul of a baried animal giving it a full three year cycle before they crawl out from the ground with a new mind and body. They can remember their passed life from before which is one theory of why they are so brilliant but they do have a new life to start over. They keep out of any contact with mostly humans. They may be feared but they are also hunted.
What they do with the bones after collecting is not only to use for body parts but to decorate their
homes.
