Wow, so I finally finish this, it's been in WIP since JUNE! It's been so long that I even forgot what my description of it was. All I remember is that it was inspired by the Venetian Carnival Masks. Other than that, all I can say is that I'm happy it's finished and that I can finally move on!!

"Breaking" by PakMan is a highly detailed and beautifully rendered Photoshop painting inspired by Venetian Carnival Masks. The amount of detail in the piece as a whole is amazing, but even moreso is the detail in the mask; which, as the name might imply, is breaking away. Normally I don't recommend full-viewing anything that can't capture your interest with its preview image but you'll only be missing out if you don't check out this painting in full detail!

I've always wondered how anyone can paint in photoshop and get all those textures and everything. Is it only available in pscs2? Or am I missing something? D:

Oooh, finally! You lost a lot of detail around the breaking part of the mask, you should have taken detail shots. I bet there's some nice details around the gold too. The eye on the mask is really beautiful, you did such a nice job on this.
