Finally finished. this is a request-commission from my public library. They're showcasing various local artists on the ends of the four new bookshelves they got in, and asked me if I could be one of the four artists they showcased. I agreed, and spent the last 3 days on this poster for them. Drawn on poster board, it's final size came out to be 20"X24". I sure hope they can find a frame big enough. ^.^; Drawn with pencil, then inked with Faber Castell PITT Artist pens. This is THE BIGGEST ink I have EVER done. I decided to go all out and leave as little white space as possible, and I'm very proud with how it turned out. For those with a good eye, yes, it is my dragon Kayser. That wasn't intentional, honest! :lol

I suppose he's slightly older here, which I like. After this I got SO sick fo drawing scales and books.... :p
EDIT: 100806: *happy scream* It got Masterpeiced! OMG thank you SOOOOO much! This is a first EVER for me! You guys dunno how happy I am!

!!!!! THANK YOU!

It looks like something you would find in a children's colouring book. :)

Ohhh. Two dragons on the frontpage at the same time.
Congrats! It's well deserved. That is some wonderful inking, and he has a lot of personality. I like how he's holding the mug with his tail...
If you made one, I'd want to buy it.
I second what wineXrose said about a coloring book.
InsaneVee Says:
Very good! Awesome pose and personality.

Where'd you get your artist pens? the ones I get are crappy, and yours give you a nice bold texture to your outline
I love how you've made Kayser stand out in the foreground by broadening the line
.
Scales are awesome too...
