An illustration from a story that's been lingering around in my head for years - characters Fox and Luna. There are some proportion issues, but I liked working with this color palette, and I sort of like how Ealai (the depressed looking horse) came out even though I think I'd have handled the painting a little differently on the whole if I had to do it over again.

Wow that's really really good. I love the mood that's been established here. Very nice. The detail is amazing!

Saw it and new right away it was yours. Again..amazing work.

Yeaah, I can see the anatomy issues, but that horse does look good, and the coloring/mood is great.

Gorgeous...I like the scrollwork in the border and the horse's equipment (don't know the technical terms for that!).

Well, I don't envy trying to draw a pose like that, lol. I guess I can understand some minor anatomy issues. Perhaps the heads seem a tad large for the bodies? And the woman's face seems... "stiff" somehow, I guess. But that's little nitpicky stuff, anyway. You probably don't really need much of a critique on this, since you seem to know what you messed up on, anyway, lol. Not much of a mistake, though. The whole thing is just beautiful.

I think the horse is really my favorite part. The fur looks amazing. As always, I'm stunned by your attention to detail. The forest floor, too. I tried to do a forest floor once... I ended up copping out and putting blobs of color all over it to make it look like blurry leaves. ; You have some patience. The sense of movement with the blowing hair and leaves worked out nicely, too. I also really like the colors used in this. Oh. And the frame/border. It really adds to it. ^^ Beautiful work.

I Ealai so much. And overall... this really is stunning. Another of those illustrations that you feel as though you can walk right into, which I love.
