Catboy version of my two characters from Defenders of Heart, Razen and Tanitin. I inked it by hand, made a copy, and then I colored the copy with colored pencils. I also entered it into an art contest... I didn't win, but I still liked it a lot anyway.
I don't like the mistakes, and you can still see some pencil marks in the high quality scan of it. But I worked all night on this before my small convention event... and it paid off!
First posted up on TokyoPop account. The picture, Razen, and Tanitin belong to me. I also took a picture of it when it was hanged up with other artworks in the contest, and that one shows the coloring in the background much better. I think my scanner is bleh. Either that, or my coloring is bleh.
Oh well. The background was lightly done in pink, in a bit of a sketchy style. I hope you guys like it!
