Dance in the Shadows

I knew it was wrong,
How could it be right?
To dance in the Shadows
And condemn the Light?

And then I did see
I saw my plight
I danced in the Shadows
I condemned the Light

Tried as I could
To set things right.
I still danced in the Shadows,
Still condemned the Light.

That time will soon come
That end to the Night.
When I will step from the Shadows
When I embrace the Light.

I look back at that time
When I first saw my plight.
When I danced in the Shadows,
When I condemned the Light.

That battle I fought;
The one I still Fight.
To dance in the Shadows
Or to embrace the Light.
