Introduction

For a moment he saw her and it stopped him in his tracks. The same feeling crept into his mind. While he stumbled forword confused on what he was doing, the female lost no time in taking advantage of the turning situation. She quickly jumped forword and bit into his shoulder then let go and jumped back.
Reminded by the pain that now throbbed in his shoulder, he rememberd what was happening and lunged forwerd growling. He missed. Again he took a swipe at her, but he was too slow and she easily dodged...smacking him on the back with her palm. Unable to catch his balance he fell to the pavement. His mind felt funny and his vision blurred. He could not have known that her saliva caried a poison that was injected when she bit him.
Rez struggled to get up, but only fell back down breathing heavily. Finaly giving up and glanced up at her...but it was not the female that he had been fighting that he saw. His eyes widen as her blurred image looked back at him. Images raced through his mind. Pictures that had not been brought out of the dark in years. "How can you...," he never finnished what he was mummbling, just whispperd her name as he slipped into unconciuseness.
The female stood there looking at him. He was not a hunter. As she turned to walk away he mummbled,".........Starling.Sorry." That name was familer. She turned around and looked at him. Racing through her own memories, she recalled one of th scientists saying that name and reading it on some papers. Perhaps he knew something. Deep in her mind...she knew that was not the true reason she was going to stay until the poison left his body...it was just a good excuse.

I think this proves that I suck at humans and perspective.
someday I will redo this and it will turn out like the image in my head.....
for now I am happy with this one though. it was good practice........despite the dreadful eyestabbing faults in it.
